    Hi Kamal =)

Unfortunately, Nokia 6260 cannot save messages in memory card. There's no option to change the default memory in messages, unlike in Nokia 6600.

Hi all. Small prob with my 6260. How do I make the card memory default for receiving nessages? You see while I have a 256MB memorycard, I cant receive any data bigger than 8 MB (Phone memory) as the messaging Inbox cant accept big files owing to this limitation. This can be changed in 6600. Anyone knows how to make card memory degault in 6260?Mail me pls - kamalk@solutions-intg.com

Why is it that this phone costs $600 au and snaps in two when you flip it open. Oh well maybe it was for the better that this phone snaped because when i took it back to the shop they said that i could exchange this phone for a 6670 or 3230, i picked the 3230 and its such a good phone. it looks okay and also has a 1.3 megapixel camera. i will definetly stay away from nokia flip phones for the very reason that they get so excited about the phone that they dont make it strong enough to stay in one peice.

of course 6260 is a damn good phone.it has decidedly better looks than 6600,has more functions than 6600.besides being flip phone.and it doesnt break in 2 pieces for god's sake.

              You're right loy =)

Nokia 6260 is a good phone in its price.

I guess what loy is trying to say is, buy a more expensive phone if you want it to be super perfect. Some people dont want to spend a lot of money thats why they'll buy phone like this, then at the end of the day they will complain.

I cant blame those people who complain, we all have different points of view and taste when it somes to something like food, clothes, phone, car, etc.

And if this phone easily breaks or snaps into two like what some people say, then all buyer of this phone should have snapped they're phone into two already. But i didnt, my friend didnt, my cousin didnt, and my boss didn't. All our 6260 are still in one piece. So it depends on who's using the phone if he's careless or not.

whatever phone you buy, may it be expensive or cheap, it will break into two or into peices if you don't take care of it or if you abuse it.

I already had 6 phones in my entire life namely Nokia 5110, 8210, 3650, Panasonic X70, Nokia 6600, and 6260: None of them broke. I still have my Nokia 5110 and 8210 and they're still rocking and solid! My Nokia 3650 and 6600 i sold to my two friends and they're still functional and they have no complaints at all since they are a carefull user too.

The phone's durability depends on both the manufacturer and user. the question is, are the phones durability depends "mostly" on the manufacturer or user? you be the judge.

Well i bought 6260 week ago. I can see a lot of questions about video. Well even if u record vidoe about an 1h long, watching it... vidoes resolution is 128x90 something. And the phone displays it quite fair. From pc it looks, actually it doesen´t look at all. In video case i bought 512 MB card and I have uploaded music videos on it. Of course u will have to download nokia media converter v2.2.If u have any questions before buying this phone u can e-mail me and ask. When i started to think about buying this phone I had a lot of questions and i couldnt get anwsers anywhere. But i can say that phone is exactly as I expected :P

                                  Hello Cristix =)

thats the exact same problem of one of the posters here. He doesnt have the 4th option which reads "VGA resolution".

First thing: you're sure that your phone is Nokia 6260 right? (the twist phone).

If it is, I think its with the firmware version or something thats why you dont have that option.

In that case, its best to bring your unit to a Nokia Care shop for any possible upgrade. You should have that option as I and my friend have it.

hi goood day to all,i bought this phone last march 12,2005...and so far everythings just fine...and recently i just bought a 512mb card and it works,no problem with it...i like to buy a 1gb but it cost a lot here in the Philippines, the thing that would make your phone great is putting applications on it,like the PhotoRite and the CameraXpro..where you can zoom it up to 8x,quality wise its nice up to 4x the zoom, its clearer..try also the SmartMovie...and important apllication is the file explorer where you can share all the applications to your friend with file explorer also.....generally i love this phone..just handle it with care...also i have almost 150 themes on my phone and counting...here is the free website for themes to download.....www.zedge.no......again good day to all, hope i clear somethings with those wishing and planning to buy this smart phone,....thanx!

" Image quality " ( which is selectod to 'High' ) , "Default image name " and "Memory in use" . That`s all . There is no option where i can turn on VGA resolution. Please try and help me. Thanks.
