hi goood day to all,i bought this phone last march 12,2005...and so far everythings just fine...and recently i just bought a 512mb card and it works,no problem with it...i like to buy a 1gb but it cost a lot here in the Philippines, the thing that would make your phone great is putting applications on it,like the PhotoRite and the CameraXpro..where you can zoom it up to 8x,quality wise its nice up to 4x the zoom, its clearer..try also the SmartMovie...and important apllication is the file explorer where you can share all the applications to your friend with file explorer also.....generally i love this phone..just handle it with care...also i have almost 150 themes on my phone and counting...here is the free website for themes to download.....www.zedge.no......again good day to all, hope i clear somethings with those wishing and planning to buy this smart phone,....thanx!

Hi Owen.I tried your instructions. "Camera" -> "Options" -> "Settings" . But there are just three options. " Image quality " ( which is selectod to 'High' ) , "Default image name " and "Memory in use" . That`s all . There is no option where i can turn on VGA resolution. Please try and help me. Thanks.

Hi preetha =)
If you're doubtful that 128MB will work on 6260, try to verify it with the Nokia sales person where you will buy your phone. I'm sure he/she would know it because its the line of product they sell.
I also have a couple of friends who use 128MB and 512MB respectively for their Nokia 6260.
And as per my previous post, I've found the website that sells 512MB of RS-MMC that is tested to work with Nokia 6260. The website is:
http://www.mobymemory.com/proddetail.asp?prod=rsmmc512%5F001
(just click on the website link above, as it might NOT work IF you copy/paste it in your browser)
I would assume that 128MB will work since 512MB was tested to work.
I hope this helps you. As I always say, its good to ask a friend or someone you know and trust if they've tested 128MB for themselves.
ciao! =)

Hi CristiX =)
You need to go to "Camera", then press "Options" then go to "Settings". scroll down to the last option and turn ON "VGA Resolution". that should increase its resolution.

Hi Razvan and Cristix, i think you don't know one thing that if you take a snap in imaging mood, you will have 480 res but if you take snap in closed mood, you will have 640*480 vge res, but you make sure that you did on vga from camera options.Bye
