to eMBi, i can only help with some of your questions...
1) yes, 62620 can record video, with no time limitation, u can record as long as like, as long as your memory can support. but the quality is not good.
2) sound of 6260 by itself is not bad. but it is bad when u use it to play mp3. i dun know why, but there is 'buzz...' noise when u play mp3. both ringtone & radio's sound qualities are good.
3) nope, no USB cable. you have to side purchase.
4) official info saids that 6260 can support uptil 512 MB. but i heard if you really use 512 MB, the phone will slow down. just heard... not confirmed, & I have not tried out myself.
5) this I can't help you. it's depends on every individual

Is there a way to keep the screen light from going off every 10 seconds? Have to keep pushing buttons for the light to stay on.

this phone is the only nokia's perfect..mp3 player and radio at the same time...6260 records up to 10 min. depends on the memory..6260 is quite louder then 6600 and 7610...this phone is awesome!

i'm so regrets for buying this phone....its make me feel like wanna cry.....i compared it wit my cousin's one e398(motorola)....found it...motorola better than this one....omg...anyone who wanna buy this phone, better DON go for this one...believe me.....i wont tell lie...

DUDE, do you even know what's STEREO and MONO mean????? 6260 DOES NOT have STEREO output for FM Radio, TRY using a MONO headset and LISTEN carefully, or use LOUDPSPEAKER instead... can you even listen any difference???
As for MP3, with the STEREO headset, there ARE big difference, don't tell me you can't differentiate it. IF you have MONO speaker, NO software can make it STEREO, you only have ONE channel...
Even for your PC, if you plug in a MONO headset, you CAN only hear MONO regardless of what SOFTWARE you use...

Nokia 6260 does have stereo output for FM radio but not for MP3, regardless of headphones.
If the stereo headphones make the FM radio sound stereo, how cum MP3s still sound mono with it!

For STEREO quality sound, NO Software can help, BECAUSE it's the HARDWARE problem, Most nokia symbian phones doesn't have STEREO speakers, only have MONO speakers (1 CHANNEL).
The RADIO is NOT STEREO as well, you hear STEREO quality because you're USING the STEREO headset (STEREO, get it? two headset ONE LEFT, ONE RIGHT, 2 CHANNEL). Try using the NORMAL headset (MONO headset), and you'll HEAR MONO quality, or put LOUADSPEAKER ON for radio, you'll hear MONO as well...
So, in other words, to hear STEREO quality, USE the HEADSET...
N-GAGE Classic comes with STEREO speakers, but N-GAGE QD does not, that's one BIG reason why N-GAGE Classic are better choice...

being an avid phone user. i change my phone every 3-6 months. i've used from brands like nokia, sony ericson, motorola, samsung and every other brands you can think of. in my opinion, the nokia 6260, which i'm currently using the black edition, is one of the most stylish, yet feature-rich phones i've ever used, it also does justice to its lower price. in fact, i'm so happy with this phone, i think i'll not change it for any other at the moment, i might just get a pocket pc for my wifi solutions. i considered changing my 6260 with an O2 Xda IIs or HP IPAQ 6365 as i needed a wifi device, but this chick-magnet gadget is just too hard to let go, not forgetting its powerful functions and reliable performance. so i guess i'll just get a pocket pc and have two wireless with me.

OFF THE HOOK!!!!!
i love this fone!!! voice clarity is superb! loud speaker is good (&loud!)
the fone is pretty fast compared 2 the n3650 i had b4! i have the fone here in the u.s. and I get so so many compliments. i have yet 2 c another!
camera has a slight delay so be carful when you take flix
u must also have good lighting 4 good video capture.
just a grat solid fone. get one!! they don't cost much and have just as many options as your 5 & 6 hundred dollar fones!

i think i really got experience on this nokia 6260 n i would like to share vif all of u...
i hv taken almost 10 hours to read all opinions in 6260 page...
this wat someone shud do when they interested in a phone...
now i hv a black 6260 in my hand..
many wil say 6260 too big..
but its good enough since it also hv a large screen..
this is really a nice phone vif alll the function u want..
some say camera quality not gud,but do u no this is a symbian phone,it means u can install software to improve the camera quality..
many compares 7610 n 6260,
7610 expensive vif jus the better camera,
if some1 need gud camera quality,buy a digicam better vif few hundred dollars..
camera phone is jus use to take up some memories n not to wash out as a real photos...
7610 dun hv infra also..no radio also,..
if wana say design,
6260 has the best design which u can twist in camcoder way...
perfect..
if compare to d500
no fight!!!
d500 jus a usual phone but 6260 is a symbian phone...
