I DID NOT tell you to go to the File Manager installed in your phone I told you to install the application named "FileMan" and then you can do the rest of the thing I wrote. So READ CAREFULLY before you do something!!!

thanks slavyan....but when i did wat u said.. i can only find "Games", "Images", "Installed files", "other", "sound clips", su-5", "video clips"... tat's all.. no "mailbox'..
please further advise?

I live in Sri Lanka and planning to visit Singapore next week. Interested in buying a Nokia 6260. Can someone tell me the best price and place(shop) to buy in Singapore? What will a 256MB RS-MMC cost? Also I want to know any software available to increase the voice memo recording time. according to manufacturer it is only 60 seconds a message.

To chenge your message alert tone you have to go to "Profiles", choose the profile whose message alert tone you want to change, pres "Options" and then press "Personalise". Then find "Message alert tone" and change it.

Install the app FileMan. Then open it, go to "Mailbox", find your file, press the left button which is "Operations" and press cut. Now go to the directory you want, press "Operations" again and "Paste". You can now use it as a ringtone.

I received some midi files via bluetooth.. but they are stored under Inbox/My Folder of Messaging. In this way, I can not use them for ringtones..
Can someone help to advise on how I can tranfer them to ringtones??

Need advice.. please help.
I received some mid. files in my 6260 via bluetooth... but I can only save them in the Inbox/ My Folder under 'Messaging'. In this way, I am unable to use these files for Ringtone.. cause my ringtones option can not access to Messaging files...
can someone advice me on how to transfer these mid files from Inbox so that I could use them for ringtones?

Just nid help from all of u guys out there. u c i had bin using smart amazin fon 4 about 2 yirs. Now im planning 2 switch to 6260, so ryt now im having great trouble on deciding on certain issues. Hope u guys can help me decide & answer dis few questions..
1. Which color is best, i think that silver s great but i hav problems wid sweaty hands & im afraid that the color wud fade out. As for black i think its rily sleek & elegant, it even look like its made out of steel. well i rily like the silver 1 but except 4 the problems that it myt fade, scratch is very visible & its not that silver. its a bit yellow silver... dats y im rily havin a rily hard ty choosing.
2.I also nid 2 know wat are the best applications to install to improve the performance of dis fone. rily want to focus on the improvement 0f the ff: camera, video, mp3(im rily luv listening to music so i nid the best software to improve this aspect), & last wud b a software that cud easily help me to manage my files..
So guys, nid ur help on dis.. Hope i hir from yah!!!! its rily urgent i rily nid to know as soon as possible. For those rily generous enuf hu cud send me those cool application, pls do so.. it wud b greatly appreciated.. Tnx!!!!!! my email is sirchristian_05@yahoo.com

This phone sucks along with all other nokias. its almost like nokia keeps coming out with bad phones after bad phones on purpos because they never get any better. This was the last nokia phone I ever buy.
