mizzwolverine,
Yes, you can transfer MP3 to your phone via Infrared (BUT not the usual way, where you just "ON" your infrared.)
First, go to "FILE MANAGER" under "TOOLS", open "FILE MANAGER" program, once it's open, you should see two "TAB" on the top, MOVE to the right "TAB" (which is your MMC), the BROWSE to the FOLDER which you wish to store your MP3 (or just create a new one). GO into the FOLDER, then press OPTIONS>RECIEVE VIA INFRARED (Please note that before doing this, your infrared isn't turned "ON", as it will interrupt and send wrongly).
Please note that this process will take a long time as MP3 usually comes in Megabytes, and then you have to make sure your phone stay connected (Phone vibrates during calls, might cause infrared connection loss).
The best way is to use a CARD READER to transfer file in and out of your MMC... fast and easy, just becareful an backup your data as some card reader or MMC might not compatible with one another thus causing corrupted MMC.

Slavyan,
Go to Nokia Profesional Centre for firmware upgrades... but you just bought your phone, it should be the latest firmware already unless they're giving you old stocks...
Anyway, you can still check out if there's any new firmware release...

Sukito,
LoL, as Qi said, it's the 21st century, we should be looking at FEATURES first... it's just the same when people saw your so called "tiny" phone and then says "what a lousy phone, terrible"... right? Just the way you see it...
Anyway, there're smaller size smartphones now (like O2 XPhone2, which looks somewhat like Sony Ericson T610), because technology advances and sooner smartphones will be more compact in size...

jkeeku,
IMO, comparing 6230 and 6260, 6260 is more worth the price... I'm not sure what Symbian series 6230 is using or is it even running Symbian OS... Anyway, I only know 6230 lacks of a lot of things...
But considering your tight budget and not so high requirement, I guess 6230 could be OK for you. But if you think you can wait and pay a little more, you might want to consider for 6260, or 6600 (if you don't mind it's look).
