this is for Jo: you said you've had your 6270 for a week and had no problems with it?
I'm having problems with not having voice mail icon notification and sms..can receive them but can't send them..I have an ATT Sim card with cingular...Got any suggestions?

I need some help!! have to decide between buying a SE K750 or a Nokia 6270 both cost almost the same. Only the SE K750 has a much better camera and sound quality. plz help.

I was considering buying this online, but noticed it came with a Hong Kong warranty. I would be using the phone in the UK so if it broke i wouldnt have any warranty, right? :(

nokia phones support multitask since 6230
so yes you can write sms or look at your pictures while using them mp3 player or radio,
it accept java applications only like any other phone of any one brand.
you will need a symbian to .sis files

i have recently purchased Nokia 6270 . For .sis files its prompting unsupported file format

i think N6280 is better than N6270, the function and performance almost the same,but 6280 is more powerful than the 6270, y dont you think abt to buy a fon which is long lasting?tat is just my opinion, bcoz from the start i also tot that 6270 is well-looked..only^^
plus, 6270 is even more bigger than the 6280. think abt it. always choose the better one. its more worth to buy.

wanna ask .. when this phone listen a song then a phone call coming .... will automatic stop the music ?? n will cont when the phone call is end ??
and when open the music player can it open other app like sms .. o viewing photo ??

Ey guys, I really want to buy the N6270. But I don't know if you are able to browse websites with this phone or is it mainly just wap features. Please help me I'm really confused. Does the HTML make any difference with the xHTML feature? What's the difference? Please help.

Great Phone. Just purchased and very happy with features of phone. But can't find how to get voice-message icon to show only for new voicemails. Also worried about screan being scratched, any suggestions? or good Cases available? Should I be worried?
Any advice is appreciated.

A 640x480 pic takes up about 40k of memory. You should be using phone memory as most features are not available when using sim memory.

most of the problems people keep posting are mostly "i didn't read the manual type" not firmware type.
i got the phone for a week already and no problems encountered yet.

When I try to attach photo to contacts list the phone asks: "Switch number to phone memory?" I put yes and thats it, but then the picture takes like a half mb of internal memory (1200/1600). So how much does a 640/480 take?

Fixed my will not attach pics to contacts issue. Phone camara settings must not be higher than 640x480.
The phone does have an icon for voice messages (check voice messages section of manual) its the tape recorder icon. Have not be able to get to work, but Cingular currently having a problem with it so will not know for a couple of days if it really is Cingular or my phone.

depends of what you want,
if you want applications better go for the pda
but if active sync that you want, this phone have it, and also better features like 2mpx camera and mp3 player and fm radio.

when you guys get a call it interrupts music, which resumes after call is ended.
