Messages CANNOT be stored on the memory card.
As to how many messages can be stored, I currently have 1,713 messages in my inbox and there's NO LOW MESSAGE warning yet.

Is it possible to change the speaker volume on the phone?
I mean by using internal settings or something? If so what are its best/loudest settings that won't harm the phones speaker?

Dani, 28 Jun 2008I dont like N95 its a Brick with a useless Battery..you can get a 2500 mAh battery for that brick phone N95(well making it the largest battery,3time more than sony)now what do you think about it

The only thing the 3500 classic have over the 6300 is more contact storage.
The 6300 maxes out at 1,000 contacts while the 3500 classic have a capacity for 2,000. The reason for this is because the 3500 classic uses series 40 5th edition aka s40v5 whereas the 6300 uses series 40 version 3. No major differences between the operating systems though.
The 6300's 16.7 million colour screen is miles ahead of the 3500 classic's 262,000 colour screen. Just imagine, even the .7 part of the 6300's screen is more than than the 3500's classic screen. The .7 part of 6300's 16.7 million colour is 438,000 MORE colours than the 3500 classic. In addition to that the 6300 screen is bigger at 2 inches. The 3500 classic screen is 1.8 inches.
But display isn't everything...though comfort on the eyes and good legibility in sunlight is important...The 6300 also have a more power battery. You can 1/2 hour more talk time than the 3500 battery. Also, the 6300 have a standby time of 348 hours while the 3500 classic standby goes up to 280 hours. That's a big difference right there because when the phone is completely idle, the 6300 will last 2.8 days more than the 3500 classic...that's almost 3 more days of standby time.
Where sound is concerned I have not heard the 3500 classic's output but I can tell you that even though the 6300's ringing sound could be louder, if you get the right MP3, midi, monophonic or any of the many formats it supports, then it's loud enough. I will tell you though, in an extremely noisy environment, it's easy to miss calls on the 6300. If people tell you that the 3500 classic is louder then you can go ahead with it.
Other than the ringing part, unless you know 2,000 people and want to store them all in your phone the 6300 is a better buy overall.

I decided to experiment and found out that resetting the factory settings will fix the voice dialling and voice commands problem. Upgrading to 6.01 is not so dangerous afterall.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it happens even when it's not in silent mode. I tried going to the general profile mode and personalise but option to stop light effect can't be found.

With my 6300 it was recognized the first few days but ever since it HASN'T been recognized at all. That's a major bug which nobody seems to talk about. It's not really a problem for me though because I'm not a headset fan.
