    To FUTURE 6300 USER:

You came across Macromedia Flash before you even thought of purchasing a 6300.

Macromedia Flash is behind the effects you see on many websites, effects like animation in motion, short motion video which automatically restarts when it's finished, audio without video or video + audio. Any of these or a combination of all of these is usually made possible with Macromedia Flash technology.

The mobile version is called Flash Lite. You can get many software made with this technology. For example games, calendars video clips. I have downloaded everything I mentioned just now. One of the calendars had a girl dressed in bikini and you can scroll through the various months or years. The games are cool and the graphics behind all of this is really clear.

Macromedia Flash Lite 2.0 is just an upgraded version to the first release which came with phones like the 6233 and 6131.

Macromedia Flash Lite files have a .SWF extension. For example 'looney_tunes.swf'

      To FUTURE 6300 USER:

Every Nokia manual, even from the days of the old Nokia, says that it's safe to leave the charger plugged in the phone up to a week. Nokia further says that if you leave it in for more than a week it can shorten the overall life of the battery. The manual says "DO NOT LEAVE THE CHARGER PLUGGED IN FOR MORE THAN 1 WEEK".

So 1 day is quite ok my friend. Have no fear.

it will not damage the battery but u have to charge it when the battery is empty or it low - if u charge it and its not low thats will damage the battery and u have to ask also in your country about the battery life lime . u welcome again

                To original Jamaican:
Well another question. Hope it's just okay.. I have seen on Nokia's official website that this 6300 has Macromedia Flash Lite 2.0 listed in specifications. What is that and what can it do to the phone? Thanks..

                  To original Jamaican:
Thanks for responding.. Whoah.. 24 hours charging?. Will it not damage the battery? Or make the battery lifetime operation degrade? I'm just wondering.. Well sorry if i have a lot of questions because i just don't have any idea at all. Please..

                        To simone,
There are stickers you can buy to protect da screen of ur phone. da display sticker which comes on da phn wen ur buying will fall off with time. but the ones i'm talking about stays on. i'm using 1 on my phone. it does nothin but protectin da screen. some stickers might hav a light tint in blue. but dat wnt affect da display. these things are not very expensive.

                            to Mohammed,
there is nothing you can do to improve da phones BUILT-IN memory other than u delete all da default tones, images n stuff. But u can xpand ur xternal memory up2 2GB. But i recommend u use a 1GB card bcz da phones processing speed might slow down a bit if u used 2GB.

the 6300 is a great phone i have had mine for about 3 months now would have to be one of the best i have ever had. except i cant help the screen getting scratched does anyone know if you can get a cover to cover the screen? i have had no problems except the battery but im always talking on it so it is suspected to die if you use it as much as i do.

For those of you who are interested in acquiring a 6300 you won't regret it.

For those who are curious about the audio & video capabilities of this phone.

Where video is concerned it supports H.264 aka MPEG-4 AVC / MPEG-4 / 3GPP2 and the oridinary 3G and it's able to manage 128kbps videos very fast. Up to 216kbps is fast. 384, 512 and higher will reduce the speed and drain the battery faster because the video engine will have more work processing the higher bitrate.

For audio it can handle AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP3, MP4, WMA, AMR-NB, Mobile XMF, SP-MIDI, MIDI Tones (poly 64), True tones. So basically any audio you download or transfer from a next device should easily work without the need for re-encoding.
