the battery is just not working fine, it took more time for charging than using for sms, almost 2 hrs of charging but only an hour of sms then its empty batt

Mobile is very nice and slim.
But the life of the battery sucks man!!

I love it. It's an absolute tank when it comes to wear and tear. I usually take really good care of phones, but I've had a few incidents (dropping, falling, etc) that any other phone would have died, and my nokia 6300 is still going strong.
I get compliments on the design and the phone itself, and I love every aspect of it. It's the perfect phone?

makes calls, sends messages, has the ability for gaming and music how the hell do i get it onto the phone? no instructions in book.

If you're up to overall features for phone, this is what you are looking for. The only downside for this is the battery life w/c almost every critics in here have been point out, and also i have proven it to be right. Another thing is you would probably ask for a flash for it's cam, Nokia should have included it. What wud you adore most on this model is it's design, awesome simplicity design. Overall it will suit your needs, and it's prize just worth for its available features and shortcomings.

guys, i reckon this is the one of the best phone you can get as a 200 bucks price range. Camera is pretty good, menu navigation is excellent. i can say that i will never ever buy a different handset rather than nokia in the future. Dont worry about the battery too much coz it really lasts long if you use the handset wisely:)

yes its true that the battery heats up easily.but for me its a good phone.i like the features and the resolution of its camera.im satisfied with my 6300 just need to take care of it.just like with the other phone....

it says on all Websites that it can Support up to 4GB microSDHC but its not confirmed 100% yet must be firmware Related

this is a great phone!normally the battery doesen`t resist to long if u talk much or u are listening to music ! all phones are like that!

@Dani,
To start off have u ever used a Made in china 6300.I have used one with firmware 5.0.It works the same f**** way as an European one.
For gods sake think for yourself and comment.
Do not follow what ever Original Jamaican.He is a very genuine fellow who know what he is speaking.
So if you don't have anything else to post stop criticizing a made in china phone.
Nokia is been in the market becoz of it reliability and they sort of treat the stepmother way.

whats wrong with you people, if you keep using BL-5C battery on this fone, its dangerous because if the miliamperes capacity was too big than the required then it might cause heating and damage the phone, just like a circuit breaker

Only 6300's that are *Made in China* have the BAD Battery Life!
