I bought it yesterday and it is like a computer. very much features it has. I love my phone. But there is a problem with it's battery. It has short life.

hi.i've put a BL5C from a 2610 and my 6300 works very well...butt i wanted to ask you ...will it work if i put the BL4C into my 2610?

all the feture of this mobile are excellent but battery can not work for long hours. Please improve it.

The BL-5C battery does NOT work!It's thicker than the BL-4C and it only fits if you cut it or something :D

I've been using this phone since Feb 2007. Somehow I dint like this phone. Till date, I faced many problems.
1. Battery backup is pretty bad when we use the music player or record something or transfer data through Bluetooth or talk for more than 10mins or have a wallpaper on the screen and the list keeps on increasing. If we use the phone very optimistically then hardly we'd get 2 days of battery backup.
2. Right now my phone is not working. I am unable to hear the calls that I receive and the person who calls me is also not able to hear me. This is the second time I faced this problem. As my phone is in warranty, am getting it repaired. If not :(
3. The phone gets heated up pretty soon.
4. Whenever we play songs, the buzzer makes an awkward sound. I like listening music in high sounds but :(
These are the problems I faced till date. Not sure whatz in store for me yet :(

Its a good phone. im using this phone from 6 months but the drawback is it gets 2 heet when we r talking more than 5min.

How will i improve my battery back up. Rite now i am getting only 1 day backup. I want to increase one more day. If u know any idea please update me.

as per user's opinions i got fit the battery BL-5C after rubbing its edges right now and i hope it will work for 2-3 days on standby mode. dear users i need your help on managing music. i have copied mp3 tracks in memory card while making individual folders; e.g. english, ringers, etc. the problem is how to make albums of these folders in music player. music player shows and plays all tracks. i want to ask how to manage folders in music player or how to make own albums? i shall be very thakful.

Good phone, camera ok, music good, design awesome ( I wish It could be a slide), features, hmm... not that bad.

Speaking of made by nokia my 6230i is "made by nokia" and have had it a year and no problems while my 6270 is made in Germany and its nothing but hell constantly restarting and loosing network all the time. So i guess it depends on the phone not where its made

to all people still asking if the battery is short, the answer is yes, because the capacity is only 860 mAh
you can read it in the specs, this fone is made to be slim, so the battery is slim too

the Battery life all DEPENDS were the 6300 is Made
if its *Made in China* it will have the worse battery life
