I see you have been listening to lots of music with your 6300. All I can say is mind you blast your ears off :-)
Wazomba, due to mispackaging I didn't get the bundled CD with my brand new 6300. Some may not think of it as a big deal whether they get the CD or not but I was hoping you could send me a copy of yours or even send me the original if you have no use for it. Thanks.

to ORIGINAL JAMAICAN, hello matey :-) hope ur keepìng well, no more findings yet but when i do i will post them for the true 6300 LOVERS, i must say im very impressed with the battery performance now after upgrading to v05.00 fimware, also ive found when using the nokia 3.5mm headphone adapter n using SONY DYNAMIC heaphones the musìc quality is excellent, they give u lots of bass especìally wìth STEREO WIDENING set to on!!

6300 & 6233 both are good handsets,you can't say which one is better,All I really want to say just enjoy your handset whether it is 6300 or 6233....

Ive had 3 nokia 6300 1st was acidently dropped in water but till then workd fine!2nd kep switchin itself off wen listenin 2 music or setting a theme the 4.75 firmware. This 3rd 1 5.00 firmware its fantastic it hasnt switchd itself off once gr8 litl fone my baterys fine 2 i had 6233 4 8 months an wen mp3 was playd it kept switchin off an tok 4eva 2 open memory card the baklightin drove me mad 2 8 secs only the 6300 4 me is miles better the 6233 camera 2 me is miles beter i dont ned 3g etc i love my 6300

WAZOMBA my friend, anymore findings ? (smile)
I tried the headset over the weekend as I said I would and the music playback is quite nice and DEAFENING through the earphones. I can't imagine anything sounding better.
For those of you people who want a louder ring, put on some 3rd party music and you will be pleased. I put on Rihanna's 'Umbrella' and it is damn loud! I'm sure I can find even louder than that.

Well bossman I have no problems and I'm VERY SURE the majority of people in the world who purchased this phone have no problems either. My phone was purchased straight from the Nokia factory, so I got a fresh, clean, unbranded, unlocked phone in my hands. No carrier touched it with their evil software to mess it up (smile).
Read my previous post to POPOCATEPETL as to why cell phones may have problems at times.
Also, to JUSTIFY my statement that 3/4 of the world has no problem with this phone, please read this article which states that NOKIA 6300 is 2007's MAIN bestseller.

to Origìnal Jamicon: you need to get ur facts straight, i do have a 6300 and it does have alot of problems, the worst problem is the battery , where when its on charge it overheats and the phone shuts down VERY POOR, next problem is when i make calls the phone cuts off and the phone shutsdown thats constant!!! VERY POOR. so see u r very wrong and this ìs shoddy phone and comes under the SHODDY PHONE CATEGORY!!!

This one looks sexier than the 6233. The 6233 looks cheap and reminds me of 3120, which I didn't like much.

My Jamaican friend.
I just said that the greek language isn't supported well in greek 6300s'. Is Finnish company believes that greek market is small she can leave.
And something more. I used to love nokia. I believe that the 6230i is the b e s t ever phone. But the 5300, 6300 and some of the N series have a lot of problems.
So my jamaican friend the "greek nationality" just said an opinion.

My phone was MADE IN HUNGARY and came with firmware 5.00. I have NO PROBLEMS with my phone and battery life is excellent.

To the HATERS:
I'm VERY CONFIDENT that MANY of you who greatly criticise the 6300 NEVER owned on OR tested one...especially the CLOWN who says it is a JUNK PHONE and BATTERY last 30 mins. Also the Greek national who says everybody in his country is fed up with it. If people in this forum are wise they would know when to BELIEVE STATEMENTS and when to IGNORE them.
For all of those people considering to buy this phone, GO AHEAD AND BUY IT, regardless of where it's manufactured. If you purchase it right now more than likely you will get firmware revision 5.00 which solves a lot of problem the older firmwares had...which includes the famous short battery life problem.
What I do know is that some people who are die hard fanatics of other brands like Motorola and Sony Ericsson, visit Nokia forums and post all sorts of negative comments which is just sick and this type of behaviour messes up the minds of potential buyers from avoiding lovely phones such as the 6300. You people who lives to write negative comments need to get a life. Most of you probably have outdated black & white screen phones and probably can't afford a lovely 16.7 million colour screen. You people are sick in the head.
FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE CONSIDERING BUYING THE NOKIA 6300 GO AHEAD AND BUY IT. YOU WON'T REGRET IT AND FURTHERMORE, YOU WILL SEE THAT ALL THESE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ARE JUST PURE RUMOURS.

Ok guys I agree that the 6300 is a quite cute cellphone. BUT(T)! I'm living in Greece and I have to tell you that e v e r y o n e in this country HATES the 6300! Because is full of problems. Maybe because the greek language support is horrible. For example my 6300: When I try to make a call (only try because it's impossible to call with this phone!) the phone vibrates all the time and then it switches off!
GOSH! I put the 5.00 version of the phone and it getting worst. But nobody in NOKIA knows what's wrong with the BUT(T) cellphone!
PS.: I'm working in a greek Vodafone shop aand everyday a new miserable 6300 owner is coming for help!
PS2.: It is dissapointing... Because it has excellent voice and music quality and a great crystal screen(except the battery of course...)

I buy this Nokia from Beep (BG) and guess what?! The gsm was without microphone. Industrial defect. Ha-ha-ha....pfff thanx God - In store they fixed it up. Now I'm very gratified from this phone. Best design!

6300 JUNK PHONE!!!!: what a piece of junk had this phone for 3days and it has v5.00 firmware, there r hardly any pros about this phone just all cons, PR0S: excellent desìgn, 16mìllion colour screen: CONS: crap battery only lasts 30 mins, crap speaker volume, to low u can hardly here it, when making calls phone crashes n reboots CONSTANT!!, medicore camera, no REAL PLAYER, cant use 3.5mm headphones, only
7.8mb of phone memory, not impressed at al!

no u cant move msg to the memory card, just to saved msgs in the phone memory, remember this isnt a series 60 symbian phone.

I mean i was listening to music for 3hrs constan bfor the battery meter lost a section of the charge, YES 3hrs, so who ever says the battery isnt good is VERY WRONG!!
