Hi guys! I just buy this phonecell, the black one. In my opinion, this is a cool phonecell. I fall in love at the first sight with this one! I'm used to have 8800 Sirocco. This one is better (compare to my Sirocco) because it's more slim & light, with more comfortable keypad. Looks cool for your appearance also. The ring tone sound is good. The graphic is not bad at all. I'm using a phonecell usually just for calling, sending message, and take a simple pictures, that's all. So, if you think that you're a person who like something simple, classic, and elegence, this one can be your option.

is it true that this phone is directly through the LCD? what I mean is there's no protective glass just like the other phone??

Comfortable to hold by hand but not comfortable when you have to grip it with your fingers during calls!!!
Well, maybe good for those people who practice "Kung Fu" ....cause this will help them strengthen their fingers, lol.

The phone is very comfy to hold. My Nokia 6300 was a bit awkward to hold but the 6500c is absolutely fine.

The battery is very good. WLAN & 3G killed the N95's battery as the phone wasn't optimised properly. Nokia seem to have done their homework with this phone.

I'm intresting to have this phone. But can anybody tell me how's the battery life please...? Because my N95's battery life is sucks! Cheers!

Uncomfortable & tiring to hold, especially long duration conversations ....a common problem with all slim "Bar shape" hand phones!
Anyone notice the same problem? The SE W880 in comparison is better because of it's lighter weight.

Hello petruchio, l have copied contacts to phone and not sim card but still not able transfer to car. I also had problems with my previous Nokia 6230 and had the dealer download from this phone to car without a problem but they used some strange m-benz equipment to do it. Thanks for your help anyway!

To the owner of the C-car try to copy all you contact on the phone and not on the SIM card. Do not also use groups, sometimes it blocks bluetooth data exchange.

i saw this phone on Zurich Airport and I happened to love it. it was available there along with Swiss com Connection.

FIrst of all, sorry, but sarcasm isn't so easily understood over such forum messages, I just commented so, because you didn't give any good reasons for "hating" this phone, which I now found out to be sarcasm. Sorry, anyway :-) Hell no, I'm not American, not even close. Not even English-speaking, so you can't "forgive me" :)

Just purchased nokia 6500 classic. Not such a great buy. digital clock on right side of screen when instandby mode is SOOOOO hard to read. Taking the sim card out is difficult as is the back cover. Jus bought new mercedes benz c-class which has integrated phone system. Cannot upload my phone book to car yet my previous nokia 6230 went through ok. Does anyone have any idea how to transfer phone book to my car? Any suggestions welcome.

Dude, what have networks to do with Nokia and this phone?! It's not the PHONE'S fault it's not available on your favorite carriers. That doesn't lessen the quality of this phone. Think before you write.

I hate this phone because it is still not available on T-Mobile or Three yet, and they are the only decent networks out there.
O2 are balls, Orange is a almost as bad and Vodafone seem to enjoy robbing their customers for all they are worth.
And I won't even bother mentioning the contracts offered by Mr Branson...
