battery life is for one day only,
I don't know it it's for all 6500 slide model but I don't have night mode for camera!
when I take off the back cover it is as if I take out the memory card too, when I am running music player (songs being stored in memory card) it would stop running if I open the back cover. And it the themes are stored or any other things like tones or wallpaper are stored in memory card, once you open the back cover, it would change to the default themes, wallpaper, tones etc. again...
I am not planning to buy any new phones soon unless someone gives me enough money to buy one but I'll get along with this phone...

This phone has very poor reception capabilities.Our office had 2 people using them.One of them had no coverage at all.The other had a large number of drop outs and limited coverage.The phones were each with different carriers.Each also had reliability issues,the first one didn't work, it's replacement had no signal and the other phone lasted 6 months.All show no substance

Disappointed??
The phone costs around $320.00 for 3.2MP cam w/Carl Zeiss optics. AF, Dual LED Flash, 3G, TV out, great pocketable dimensions & Solid build made form stainless steel & you're disappointed???....you must be hard to please.
How do you figure the UI is slow? The SD card slot is great. How often are you needing to take out your SD card?
If you take it out a lot, get a blue-tooth USB, so you don't have to ever take it out. They cost around $5.00.
There is no other phone is this segment that competes with this phone.
The U900 has a strange finish on it that scratches like crazy, & it is one of Samsung's top tier phones.

Very slow user interface, menu response compering to latest Samsung phones. Not only U900 , even 100$ cost J700 is way better (not for specifications), user friendli phone. SD Card slot is under cover !!! Man. This phone is overpriced. Very bad ratio price/what u get. Im totaly disapointed.

well i Have a made in Hungary set but still it doesn,t have or i havent found the option of camera sound and one thing more i have upgraded my firmware to 6.06

MobileSlider, 21 Jun 2008I have firmware V6.60 as well....I am guessing that you mig... moreI have the Asian model of the 6500 slide version 6.60. It does have the option of turning off camera sounds. I just don't know why Bob can't find it...

there are 4 choices,
choose the top most... much higher resolution means higher MB when taking pictures....but its a lot more clear. i hope this helps...

Anonymous, 19 Jun 2008my battery lasts about a day and a half. i dont use my pho... moreactually if you have the original battery... know how to check the real one? look at the battery sides you'll see dots... 5 dots i guess...(Around the LOGO) that battery is good for three days... that's fair enough...try and check yours. maybe you need to replace your battery..i hope not...
