Can the flash stay on to be used when in video mode or used as flaslight?If not,can software upgrade provide this feature?

Have finally undertaken the firmware update from 4.84 to 6.60. Good news guys. The fon has become faster, with the old firmware it would take up to 5 mins to allow me to view pictures. With the new firmware, snap ur fingers n bam! Done.
The other plus is that the close up pics r more natural n dont have that white haze that was brought by the flash. With the new one, the flash wil work n the end result pic is more natural. I have also noticed that immediately after u have taken a photo n its still on display, u get more options via the left softkey to edit, send bla bla. Wit the earlier firmware, there only the option to delete and back to capture option via the right softkey. More good news is that so far i havent experienced the common freezing n shut down of the fon but i guess its still too early to comment on that. So guys take that step, u wil be happy u did so.

this is the best handset i have ever had to the price its going for .the camera quality is excellent and then i dont even want to go to the sound this handset played out many other handsets even sony ericsons k810 and k850 and even the 5310 M/E

i will neeeever ever ever ever buy nokia ever again, after what hapend to my nokia 6280...'
this one looks even worse and apparently the camera is extremely slow...
and lesbianic

ive now had 3 of these phones really a great phone but!! it changes its profile all the time back to orig nokia one so annoying im now changing to the classic hope this doesnt do it

I heard that this phone will suddenly hang and power off automatically.Most of the feedback were worst.Then I asked my brother's friend(a seller for handphone),he told me he had sold out few and there was no any complaint on this handphone.As long as you upgrade the software version,there should not be any problems.So I planning to have this hp...

well i dont know what happened with my Phone but now it is not connecting with my PC through PC Suite even it was once two days before then i bought it but now it is not please help

this is a very nice phone, i've been using this phone for a month no any trouble/problem....does anyone can post websites to download screensaver/games for this phone... thanks in advance... this phone is highly recommended really love it...

@ fiicollins. Whatever you do, do not buy a Chinese "6500". I'm almost certain they would have created pirate versions of the phone already.

hey!! good design....but my phone used to hang again n again also in between the call....its screen goes blank i.e all white....does it happens to anyone else....
....can anyone tell me wat to do??

this phone has only caused me and friends i know problems - i am a nokia fan too!
However i appreciate some of you have had it and it works well...mine and others have not.

all right heres the story.... this phone is not as bad as some of the pplhavbeen making out.... so stop riping it off! it does have a few problems as do most phoneslike when you pull the back cover of it disconnects the link between the phone and the memory card ...big deal... and the back cover also can make a squiking noise usaly after its been droped a few times and try to keep it out of the sand becouse when the sand gets in the slideing mechanism it gets a little grity. ok now the good points, it has nice easy to use qiuck user interface soo you dont need to wait for like 10 seconds to load any thing un like the n95(which is still a good phone jst a little to slow for my liking) good camera, good music player,stylish looks,ect. I bought one after looking from like 6 months and im pritty happy with it iv now owned it for 3 months so i highly reccomend this phone love it:)

I have purchased 6500 slide in UAE for gifting to my DAD but hard luck for us.We put it on charging and it went on and on and on.................never ending chargiing so I got it replaced but the same problem continued then finally I took the money back.Is anyone else also faced such problem.Pls let me know as I am planning to buy it from Delhi.

my slide has a big problem..it seems that its full of sand and when i try to open the phone its like am in a gym.:) not a good phone... i prefer sharp and ericsson:)

I know the memory card can support 4gb....but y the full spec write can support 8gb
Am i wrong or the full spec???
