The phone is not worth the price.got mine 2wks bk and its been one problem or the other.the memory card reads at will so wallpaper,caller tunes go bk to default.names stored on phone memory dont show when a call is being recieved.shows no only so also for text msgs.list is endlesssssssss

I wouldn't hv bought the 6500s if it's not stainless steel (silver).
It look bloody UGLY in full black.

pls la n6500slider FULLY IN BLACK is much m0re nicer.. u can get it at m1 sh0p in singapore.. i g0t it last week.. its MADE BY NOKIA NOT CHINA s0 don say made by CHINA..

I think the slide with black colour is FROM CHINA MADE..SO BEWARE 4 FUTURE BUYER! Nokia just launch only in silver colour! I've also asked the retailer about this when i buy my 6500s..

I bought this phone just before christmas. Had it for about 3 weeks and works great. not sure what all the complaining is about, but it is a decent phone but for $400 really you should expect more. Yes, it does support 4GBHC MicroSD card. Can transfer contacts from you sims to the phone and update the info from there, but seems easier for me when I installed the software 1st then create contacts from the software then upload the info to the phone. contacts and info goes in the right spots. also, it uses microsoft outlook as a contact file so you can copy them later for future use with later phones so don't have to go thru the trouble again. Sometimes I experience software lag, I press a button and no response for 1-2 seconds. Happens when I use the phone for more than 15-20 minutes (Web, etc...) so maybe it's an overheating issue? My slide doesn't scratch the buttons so whoever got that problem must be an isolated incident you poor bastard. Picture quality is very good (had a motorola v600 before so a huge difference). No qualms about that but I'm sure other phones probably have better quality but this was never intended to be a camera anyway. The only problem I have and I'm hoping someone out there can help me is that I can't seem to use apps that access the internet (Yahoo GO plus Google Maps and Opera Mini). Which is wierd since Yahoo go & Opera Mini is already preinstalled. When I open the Apps, I get "sorry - no internet connection found" to fix.... do these things. But to no avail, I can't seem to get it to work. Thinking it has something to do with the settings on the phone. It has to be because when I access the internet, and go to online sites, no problem since I can see a internet connection being established on the top with the icons. But nothing with the Apps. Any HELP???

Nice phone n considered buying it before. Glad i didnt fall for the pretty package. Such boring features made more for fashionista.. Wifi should be mandatory in 2008. Heard abot the keypad scratches n resetting probs. Shud dip below $300 USD by summer. No thanx. Nseries is better.

sometimes the time i receive text messages is different. it's 1-3 hours advanced though sometimes, the time is correct. i've already set the time zone correctly (which is gmt +8). why does the time received keep on changing? can someone please help. thanks a lot. =)

I like the phone.
Been reading what people have been saying.
So Im asking these questions:.
1. When you have the 4gb Memory card in it, Does it make the phone go faster or slower?
2. People said there is a "camera at the front". Where is this located? I have looked at the phone in shops and online and don't see this function.
All I see is this black strip right at the top which im asuming is used for your ear when someone rings.

just got mine yesterday. i wish i could turn around time and bought n73 or se k850 instead. not worth the money. my friends n73 look better despite the 262k colour screen, also se k850 packed more features.

I got this phone 3 weeks ago and since then I did not have any major problem with it ,but it got hung twice in middle of a music that I guess is related to the memory card.But I really love the look ,the slide is fine and no problem with anythibng else.

most user will have a problem with their text msg time. Change the GMT (Time Zone). Those live in Malaysia or singapore set the GMT to +8. It will solve your problem. Do the same for other country. Check ur country GMT.

anyone here tried a 4gb microsdhc memory card on the handset , i know they say it's compatible to a max of 4gb , but i need to make sure it works and does not hang ?
please do reply to this , im getting a 4gb today , need to make sure i dont regret it.

this phone has the looks but no personality, its just like a nok 6233/6280, but with a more durable goodlook. this phone does crash, when you have memory over 1gig. slide mechanism is not as tough as other phones such as samsung and sony ericson, this phone deserves 5/10.

i finally have the firmware update 4.84 from nokia website. but i have trouble updating the software. it keeps cancelling in the middle of updating. why is this?
