@ Julie , thanks !! then whats the point of the memory card !? dont they test it before releasing a phone ?!? NOKIA learn from sony eriksson pleasE !! my phone is aat the maintenance for a long time !!!

Great phone! Valuable, good display, good stand by, no hangers, good audio quality, good photo quality. a bit too heavy and could be a little bit slimer.

I agreed with what andylayo mention... if you want to set the theme or ringtone for your mobile, make sure you save everything in your phone but not in memory card. not just nokia 6500 slides got this problem, my nokia 6230 also is the same and sony ericsson occured the same problem too.

My daughter has the 6280 & this is so much more updated to that model now you will love the changes.
The video recorder is very good with no complaints from me.

HELPLESS MAN. I find this mobile very fast when opening files etc, no lagging of more than a second.
The camera is 3.2mg pix with flash & takes an excellent picture.
Although it does reset to original default theme about twice a week it only takes a couple of mins to reset. My mobile has turned itself off twice in the last 8 weeks so i can live with that. Overall this is the best mobile i have owned & i have had alot of mobile cause it takes me a while to find the right phone, i did it with this one.

plz plz plz help me, i want to buy this mobile , but i m very afride that my past 6280 is s40 and it reboot every time. Does 6500 reboot or hang problem like other s40 mobile. 6500 VGA video is good as 6280 ?? Plz Plz reply me. Thanx

this refers to anyone that has had problems with the wallpaper and ringtones diverting back to the default settings.i assume you have been setting them from the memory card?
unfortunatly there is an issue with the 6500 slide seeing the memory card.i.ve tried 8 of em,all the same.instead you will have to save you ringtones and wallpaper to the phone in order to use them without the settings diverting back to default.hope this helps, at least untill another firmware version.

one bad thing it can get easily scracht cauz of da stainless steel case i think
