Hey guys....
Yeah, my B-Day is Oct. 9th. so this is a great early B-Day present. I will take pics and let you guys know everything about this phone be it good or bad.
If you check out the review from Mobile Review.com and looks at the pics, you will see that they look just fine. In fact I think they look really good on the Mobileburn.com review as well. I don't know what people were expecting.
I mean, it is a CAMERA inside a Mobile Phone. I don't know what people are expecting these days, but to have an integrated MP3 player a 3.2 MP camera and be able to text, make/take calls, download videos & watch them on your TV is pretty amazing.
I have a Nikon 7.2 MP camera if I go on vacation for those special photos. But the camera in this phone is more than enough for an impromptu capture of cool pic should the occasion arise.
I will have it by Mon. or Tues. I will post here and on the other mobile forums about the Slide.

here are some diff... between 6500 and 5610
nokia 6500 have..
=TV out
=Carl Zeiss optics
nokia 5610 doesnt have these.....
but 5610 have excellent music options and good camera same like 6500.........
nokia 6500 is in uae for 1499 dhs.
nokia 5610 is in uae for 1350 dhs.
nokia n81 is in uae for 2099 dhs.
nokia 5310 is here in uae 1050 dhs.

I bought this phone today, its really a cool phone to hold and use...its a solid one though..camera quality is good...music is above average...one the whole, it has a good build and good reception

I did it!!!
I just bought one off of Ebay US. for $528.00 US. with 2 day FedEx delivery. I am so freakin' stoked to finally buy it after 5 long months of waiting.
I will let you guys know how it is. I am not expecting to be let down though.

The Nokia 5610 is pretty close to a music edition of 6500 slide. I would go for it if it was released at the same time, but don't want to wait 2-3 more months.

Yesterday the phone was said available on the nokia thailand web site. Now it is back to coming soon ! There should have been a confusion, because it is the 6500 classic which is now advertised and available in the shops. The 6500 slide will available later...when ?

Sorry to correct, but not yet available in Thailand. I know, i live in Bangkok. But price is already known at 13790 bahts, 290 euros.

Yeah im sick of waiting for this phone too. I found a new love with the n95... Has everything in one tight package :)
So there u have it.. No more 6500 slide for me.

reviews say that this damn celll got problems and why should we wait for a cell that has problems, expensiv??
i'm switching on a new phone: the e65.. wich is , in my opinion, much better than this one!
it has wlan and everything u can ask for!
