Nokia 6500 slide

Hello. I want to ask you about new Nokia's slide mechanism. I remember old Nokia 7650 wich its slide mechanism was terrible bad. After 2 months it was a crap. This part which was sliding, was rocking from left to right like in cheap toy. I'am affraid that this will be again my nightmare when I'll buy Nokia's slider. Is this new mechanism is much more better than that old, or this is the same old bad piece of s**t.

Are you serious that the 6500 slide is being sold right now in an Orange Shop? if it is coming to O2 on oct 8th, then the unlocked version should be out sooner. you joking or serious about seeing the phone on sale already?

I went to the Orange Shop yesterday and it is available at Orange Shop! It is free on 35 pounds tariff same with 6500 classic as well. But both of them are not available on Orange website!

SE isnt the Only 1 who releases Phone's Late
Nokia are taking there time releases them to !!!!!!!!

what about 7500 prism it was announced after 6500 slide and yet its in the market whats that !!thats unfair !

it looks good no doubt. but i think if nokia is making ppl wait for that long da customers will switch. i am waiting for apple iphone i like dis set too but whoeva comes 1st i will grab it. coz i can't buy 2 sets in 3 months time...apple or nokia ........

This just shows how the networks slow down the release of a mobile everyone can"t wait to get,Orange an Vodafone and T-mobile be producing there own software an boxes an manuals with there own stupid names on the phone an boxes but really takes ages to do,Why?can"t they just release the mobile with no stupid things on the mobiles an it would then make the mobile quicker to be released,O2 is who i am with an so glad but i bet they want to release it now but not able to because of the other networks would starting complaining if they released it first

Aaahh, the perfect gift for myself this christmas! Minus one from the list of ten things to do before I die! Another reason why I should activate my credit card again! I think i'm going to stop collecting nokia phones for a while when I get this baby! Good one Nokia! Nice....very nice!

I just heard that the Slide is gonna get pushed back to late OCT. or Early Nov.
I really don't know what the hold-up is. It's a damn S40 Device for craps sake.

well...if the phone comes out this end of sept, it will be good...i m really cant wait for it...but i m afraid that they use a tactic...the more u want the longer time u wait, at the end u also pay more to get it...hopefully i guess it wrongly...anyway, please let us have it asap. B-)

6500 slider was announced 31 may. Usually it takes Nokia at least 3 months 1/2 to lauch a phone after the announce. That is mid september. So up to now nothing wrong here. Should be here by end of september...

They are just making us want this phone MORE and MORE ... and when they'll release it...it's going to make HUGE profits. This phone is going to be 'best deal'.
