i bought my 6500 slide july 2008. it was very neat, sleak, tough-looking aluminum body and cool buttons, i spend my nights browsing the net, chatting with friends. camera equipped with carl zeiss lens at 3.2 megapixels is just brilliant...
8 months later: i'm part of the long line at the nokia care center, because my nokia 6500-slide is already defective. at first, the right soft button above the boot key won't work, a day after- the entire LCD blacks-out when you open-slide it. basically now the phone is useless because you can't dial a number, even send sms.
totally frustrating for such a promising handset.

Yes,camera is on the back of the phone and I think the pictures are somewhat decent. Otherwise, it is a good phone.

crystal, 12 Mar 2009I'm nokia fans, however nokia 65oo slide are really made me... moreworst phone ever. never should have hit the shops always in for repair. i am on my second model and that is in the shop being repaired. even the peoplein the shop agree its a bad phone always in for repair.
