the IRDA on nokia 6610 /6610i has been configured to only send/receive calender notes and business cards ....
IRDA association of 6610/6610i with any other IRDA enabled devices for multimedia transfers will fail .....
6610/6610i IRDA works only with PC suit available in the sales package ......
6610/6610i not a good choice for ppl who r into multimedia transfers ....
6610 has 780Kb internal memory .
6610i - 4 Mb ....

only problem i have with this phone is its incompatibility with most of data transfer cables like irda, com cable etc. also most of PC-Suit fail to even recognize it. i even try 6.3 version. but now some one told me that pc-suit v6.5 works with it.

This phone is ok if ur not after lots of gagets in a phone. The main disapointment with this phone is the CSTN 4k color screen. At first it didnt look to bad, but when i compared it to a 6230 TFT display it looks terrible, very yellow, lots of ghosting and not to bright. If it had a TFT display it would look much nicer!

Y one to buy it becose it is not so expensive and it is a great phone,of course lets not forget that it is a NOKIA.

I have a nokia 6610i and want to transfer builtin rintone of Nokia 6260 on it, But I can't. I dont know how to take image and ringtone from 6260 and save it on 6610i

hi i hv sonyericsson k500i & it works perfect.When i tranfer pics to nokia 6610i the IR of 6610i does not work at all.Why?
Although nokia 6600 is compatable to my set.

Hi anyone can help me? I bought the phone but the IRDA is not working - to PC or to Nokia and other models of phones. I exhange the phone with another new one the IRDA is still not working?? TQ

i have the same phone and the same problem
i need the sotware for irda transfer
were i finde'it???
i try with oxygen managerII and momib ...and no result!!!

its design is very good, but the colors r not enough attractive the colors outlook looks good. But i think dark blue color should be a good entry. Features r very good, its better to add more ringing tones. over all it a very beautifull entry by Nokia. i always satisfied by nokia's product performance. good bay.

I have this phone im loving it. Awesome features camera works perfectly takes outstanding images. Nice memory of 3mb which is nice to have. lightweight all in all an awesome phone.

i download the pc-suit and then pc-suit have a something to let u install it to ur phone easly and then it take a big time and nothin there but i have mobimb and mobimb is connected to my mobile and pc-suit not connected what can i doo know :( i wanna use the infrared to send gallery and take pic's plzzz any oneee helpp meeeeeeee
