Nokia is a joke! Can't use MP3 as ringtone? What are they thinking??? LOL!!!

7610 has MP3 ringtones, MONO MP3 playback.
6630 does not support MP3 ringtones, STEREO MP3 playback.

Nokia must be kidding. Sony Ericsson can do better!

Nokia 6670 / 7610 can set mp3 as ring tone but not Nokia 6630. Nokia 6630 sybmina is 8.0, hahha, cannot set mp3 as ringtone. is this some kind of downgrade? No need to say, Nokia always create some imperfect in its phone to cater for further self created improvement.

Can anybody define Smartphone? Whats so special about 6630 that is is being called a smartphone, it is not even touchscreen. We can call SE P800/900/910 smartphones. What can 6630 do compared to other non smartphone?

There is no value of samsung d500 & se s700 infront of n6630. Cause N6630 is a symbian based series60 device & others r just like toy infront of n6630. the movie recording is also superior to the others. And if u wiil see the results of these 3 camera phones in ur PC then N6630 is a winner.

                    Hi Shane,
The phone will only work with the RS-MMC operating at 1.8 volts, the size is not an issue it can work with upto 1GB however you must know about the operating voltage of RS-MMC(it should operate at 1.8 volts). Nokia has implemented this in N6630 to extend the battery life. So confirm with the RS-MMC manufacturer that it can operate at as low voltage(as 1.8 volts).

                                      Hi all,

I noticed one more good feature in N6630 that if you reject an incoming call for whatever reason the phone sends an automatic SMS response to the caller; SMS must be preset.

I compared N6630 and SE-S700i today and I came to these conclusions,
Both the phones are good. however the SE-S700i image quality is not good at 4x/5x/6x/7x digital zoom.

I will rate these phone as follows,

Camera quality (75,70), Image appearance in phone (70, 80), Image quality when transferred to PC (80,75), refresh rate (60, 60), Video quality and Play back (80, 75), User friendly (85, 65), S/w stability (55, 50)//this will improve with later S/W versions//, features (depends on your requirements), sound mp3 (90, 60), sound miditones (65, 70), loudness (70, 75), internal memory access speed ( 85, 65), external card memory access (65, 90), GPRS ( I couln't check), cost ( acceptable, too high)

                                      overall (85, 80)

-The marks are for 100 and the first in bracket is of N6630 and second one is SE-S700i.

This comparision I did with respect to Indian phones.

                                        Hi Shane,

Nokia 6630 works with all reduced size memory cards operating at dual volt 1.5/3.0 volts or the RS-MMC operating at 1.5 volts, never with the RS-MMC which operates only in 3.0 volts and not even the SD-cards. I hope this gives you the answer.
