with regards to 3 network i wouldnt take a contract with them if they gave me free line rental with 1000 minutes and 5000 texts as i wouldnt be able to use them the network coverage is virtually non existant if it rains u cannot even send a text in manchester and 3pay is even worse u lose any credit unused after a certain period of time what is this 1990`s lol

to be honest ive been told 3 are not very good on reception and they were using the o2 signal untill they got there own, not sure if they are still doing it but i think o2 is much better then 3, im sure paul would agree

@carlos o2 are working on 3g coverage as we speak and as they have the best coverage for the service they already provide it will be just as good if not better as time goes on

Great discussions in here, but still no clue as to the cobverage I need on 3G with O2.
I'd be happy to port to them if I can get good 3G coverage (Folkestone, Kent) for browsing the net / connection to my office network etc., rather than just able to browse 3G content provided by the Network (i.e. "3").
Hope I've explained it better this time.

Thats what i did i went straight to the disconnections as they are the only ones that can offer you the good deals, i work in mobiles meself and i know if you call the network you get what you want but brokers and service providers have to work on a budget, so thats why i deal direct with the network cause even my company could not offer it me free as they got a banding of £185
