I agree that the P8OO is an outstanding handset, with outstanding features. The screen is bigger than the 7650, however only when the flip is taken off. I suspect it may be more difficult to use the handset without the flip. The memory stick is useful but not essential and memory expansion can be programmed into the 7650. I do not take anything away from the P800, it is a excellent phone but I prefer the 7650 as of now. However it will be interesting to see which phone becomes more popular!

To belragazzo
, If you see the following picture,
http://www.threegmobile.net/gallery/sonyericssonp800/q14.jpg
you will know that P800 has far bigger screen than 7650, plus P800 has memory stick expansion, larger battery life.......there's no competition between the two, P800 is the only choice !!!

Re: Caff
The handset does support headset profile. Club Nokia provides updates availiable to download through infra-red or bluetooth. Nokia is offering to update this. The P800 screen is not that much bigger than that of the 7650. I do not think that it is possible to say which is the better of the handsets as of yet...taking no credit away from the P800, as it is an excellent phone.

Crap battery life, very small screen compare to P800, bluetooth does not support headset profile which means can't use any bluetooth headset.........this sux !!

Also the P800 is a good handset but the camera functions on the handset do not touch the 7650.

I was a bit apprehensive before I bought the 7650. However I can now say that it was truly worth the indecision. The size of the phone is not a problem(it actually feels and looks lighter than a 150g phone). This is a masterpiece. I have just owned a 68i with a communicam.......the quality of the pictures on this phone is a lot better. The phone is well built and is generally quite attractive. The screen is another excellent function, it is almost a PDA. This handset does have bluetooth in answer to an earlier comment. Another excellent function is the loudspeaker. This phone is for the young as well as professionals. I am 19 and much prefer this to any other phone on the market.

i have used this phone last 2 week. the price in brunei b$1785.00. the picture taken from the phone just fine. this phone got composer but it not like 3210 format, it like samsung or philip handphone composer. the polyphonic ringtone not as good as samsung handphone. it a bit wider than usual nokia phone but it acceptable. now the phone sold out at our town. but better wait 2 to 3 months because it has sothware problems.

AND THEY CALL IT A SMART PHONE!!!!!!
Having read lots of peoples opinions about this, I have come to the conclusion that no one else has got one yet.
Why? Read on…
Lots of people who are writing reviews on other web sites seem to have their heads stuck up Nokia’s arse (Get a life and tell the truth, just because it’s Nokia doesn’t mean that it’s any good!)
I got hold of mine yesterday. Well it’s Nokia therefore people will buy it (Sorry but to many people buy Nokia phones because there Nokia, there are better phones at cheaper prices!).
First impressions – Looks good.
Second impression – IT DOESN’T HAVE ANY FEATURES, It’s to heavy, much to wide, the key pad pull down feels and looks horrible.
Smart phone, well technically it only just makes it into the ‘Feature phone’ category…
It’s a phone with a colour screen , WAP, GPRS and camera(and that’s not even very good!).
It’s the equivalent of the Samsung T100, but bigger and more expensive. But then it has got Nokia written on it....
NO audio play back
NO video playback
NO BlueTooth
NO RS232 (Serial) or USB cable provided
NO MMC/SD card slot, mind you if you can’t play audio or video then the only thing you would need extra MEM for would be for your blurry pictures…
NO PC connectivity software (i.e. ActiveSynch)
All I can say is WAIT. The Sony-Ericsson P800 has more feature but looks a bit to much like a PDA(Out November time). The Sendo Z100 seems to have even more features than the P800 (when they get round to releasing it. I’ve been told they are shipping from September).
I saw both of these phones at CommunicAsia. The P800 felt quite good, and looks better in real life than in some of the pics I have of it, but was not operational at the time. I can’t believe they couldn’t even get some basic features working on it for display purposes (Maybe we are looking at a delay for that then?). The Z100 seemed to be fully operational, making calls, using MSN over GPRS and playing audio and video. Video playback was quite good, the 65K colour screen meant you could see it properly.
