Sepfian, 01 Jan 2020overheating issues in processor or battery, i mean, ma'am.Oh, am not a ma'am but thanks for the observation:)). I can't help you with that on this devices as i pnly tested it for a while. Maybe someone here who has it can help you.

Sample night photos look pretty good. But they are shot at very low shutter speed, so you would probably need a tripod to get same results.

Not the reality.. He so much frustrated at somewhere on Nokia HMD products, not up to his desired demand, so he whining like wee baby..pity him. For me Nokia 7.2 is best mid range phone in its class. Chinese dna phones marketed with on paper high hardware specs vs the prices to attract peoples buying their overpriced phones, how ever there are not more than a piece of intergrated electronics board with snapdragon chips doing the same program. Typical chinese dna phones

Baalisa, 29 Dec 2019Hi every one... Just wanna ask.. Should i buy this or not..... moreWell I think the 7 plus is cheaper but will get only 1 more major OS update while 7.2 will get 2. I think it's all a choice of whether you care about getting 1 or 2 major OS updates and if you are willing to pay a bit extra for that.

And believe me, i take tech very seriously, still do not complain about the not problem a CPU is in this device. Yes, i give you right, people want the best the cheapest and in their opinion HMD should do the same, a wannabe device with a good enough cpu and nothing else. While for the mass probably is good, i find it stupid for Nokia to come to that cheap label and do nothing more then others already done. Nokia is not a cheap copycrap, and should be also marketed like that.

Aceryz, 29 Dec 2019You missed my point. People definitely have the right to c... moreYou can find N number of answers as to why consumers complain about Nokia 7.2 but, there are only a few who praise the same just by calling it a "Good Overall Device". Every mobile manufactured is usable. For you, even the Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 of Nokia 2.2 performs well. Some others prefer Chinese mobiles with Snapdragon 660 or 665, just because it matches their budget. When you can get a Chinese mobile with Snapdragon 660 which is on par with Nokia 7.2 for less than Rs. 10,000, only a few would prefer Nokia 7.2 because, both has the same life span. Everyone has got their right to choose anything they like. This is not a drill. As a matter of fact Snapdragon 660 is an outdated processor (though definitely not a bad processor). Another fact is that Nokia 7.2 is priced higher for its specs. This pricing makes people compare and complain Nokia 7.2 by taking something into account (say for example, Snapdragon 660). When you feel that everyone has got the right to complain, why do you call them babies. Everyone just project their views and experiences. You can project yours but, you can't mock anyone.

I updated from my Nokia Lumia 930 to this phone about 1 month ago. I am very satisfied because of the quality, I find the color green looks amazing I love it. Also had a green Lumia 930 my favorite color. Very convincing device, USB C is very handy. Had Micro USB on my previous phone. Also the notch is small and I do not even see it anymore and the camera is great. It makes good quality pics without the need to figure out the settings just snap and shot easy. I am used to a very good camera on my Lumia 930. The always on display is great to have cause I missed that on my previous phone and the display itself is of good quality, compared to oled on my 930 it’s not as contrasty but still a very good display. So far I have not seen any downsides and I will keep enjoying this phone for 3-4 years.

Subramanian CN, 28 Dec 2019Wow. At last, I feel very much pleased to hear a profession... moreYou missed my point.
People definitely have the right to complain about whatever they want. My question is this: is what you're complaining about significant? Does it affect the phone usability or performance? If it doesn't, then you have no reason to complain honestly. My Nokia 2.2 16gb memory is an issue because it gets filled up quickly after installing a few of today's apps but, at the same time, you don't see me complaining about the GPU, do you? That's because, despite its low grade, it handles 3D gaming and other mobile functions with a good level of performance!
Has anyone used the 7.2 and determined that the "old" GPU is, in fact, an issue or is its age a problem in and of itself? All the reviewers cite the old GPU but they've never clearly answered this question.
As such, I fully intend to buy this device if the only downside is this untested claim.

HMD has just sugar coated Nokia 7.2 with NOKIA and Android One branding. There is nothing more to it. This sugar coating would have definitely helped Nokia 7.2, if it is on par with the specs and aesthetics of Chinese brands.

Carol, 28 Dec 2019Honestly i like this, because i get to have a great device ... moreI too agree with what you say. I haven't gone for costly mobiles in my life because, as you have said it can do nothing except as a booster for playing games. But, for some it has become a status symbol. It all depends on individual beliefs. To take care of day-to-day tasks any mobile would do. Hence, most of the consumers choose the best and the cheapest in the crowd that can take care of it, since every mobile would grow old tomorrow as you've said. This is the reason why Chinese brands outrun other brands. HMD has just sugar coated Nokia 7.2 with NOKIA and Android One branding. There is nothing more to it.

Karthik, 27 Dec 2019I don't know why Nokia is using old hardware please improve... moreHonestly i like this, because i get to have a great device at a cheaper price. I always used flagships, but i will NEVER pay 1000 euros for one, first, because it makes no sense, i rather go in a vacation somewhere far away from the world, second because is not worth it, as the prices grew but not the functions, not the quality, nothing actually. Hack i'd never pay 1000 euros for a laptop. Lifespan of both type of devices is mediocre at best, now is new tomorrow is old. So why paying premium for that? So i actually love my nokia 9, fast and reliable. 600 euros only because of a 8 months old cpu, at release... i mean, 8 months before it's release, devices that used that cpu cost 800 to 1200 so yeah, i pick the nokia 9 for that matter only, plus the fact that the price remains stable and does not go down, like samesung from 900 to 600 or less in 6 Months, let alone other stuff i like about it. For you a cpu means old hardware, for me, it means good for the price, yet still a super capable cpu that is dismissed only by typical unknowing wannabe's.

At last, I feel very much pleased to hear a professional (EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL) reply. Opinions, discussions or arguments arises because of competing products. People argue the same way like you do by comparing it (Nokia 7.2) to competing Chinese products. Why? Not only they are cheaper than Nokia 7.2, but has better specifications than Nokia 7.2. It is definitely NOT that this phone can do nothing or that it can't perform. When you are in an interview the probability of getting selected depends upon the quality of your competitors. If Nokia 7.2 is the only mobile available in this world you/I will not be here to comment. To make things more understandable, when you have your own complaints about Nokia 2.2's low internal memory, why shouldn't others have their own set with respect to anything and everything whining like babies. As I've already said consumers will not definitely look into the MARGINAL DIFFERENCES of pricing if NOKIA 7.2 is atleast on par (though not SUPERIOR) with the competing products just because of Nokia's brand image/value.

I've read and listened to many opinions about this Nokia phone and the general complaint seems to revolve around the supposedly outdated hardware. My take is this: quit whining like babies!!! What matters is the performance and usability of the phone, not what the latest hardware under it is!
I currently have a Nokia 2.2 which I bought it as a temporary phone. My main disappointment has been the fact that the 16GB internal memory wasn't as much I expected it to be.
However, this phone can do everything I want it to do with over 95% satisfaction! I mean, I've been playing all modes of FIFA Mobile on it without a single issue!
If Nokia 2.2 can do this, do all you naysayers honestly want us to think that the Nokia 7.2 is that bad?!
