RishiGuru, 20 Feb 2021The battery is now giving up on my Nokia 7 Plus. Confession... moreFrankly its not easy to get original battery even at Nokia centers. The phone is close to 3 years old & the parts may not be readily available. So your best bet is use a supported unbranded battery of similar capacity from local shop. If you really want original one, may be you can try getting it shipped from EU region(will be lot more costly). A quick google search took me to a site - techyuga. They seem to know what they are doing (considering wide range of brands supported), may be you can try giving them a call.
My suggestion - If you are not using this phone for gaming purposes, carry a fast charge supported powerbank (at least 15-18W charging output) to give quick top-ups while you browse/ do some normal use.

Devil2Death, 27 Jan 2021That's true. Nothing feels the same in the hand :)The battery is now giving up on my Nokia 7 Plus. Confession, ultra heavy usage from my side for last 2 years.
Are original batteries still available on Indian shores? I have heard a lot of bad comments about Nokia service centers, as they charge way more for every component in comparison to their main competitors.

You won't get that quality from any midranger and not even Nokia is going to build such a device in the foreseeable future. I have no problems with it, and with Android 10 it's smooth sailing for me. I'm thinking I'll keep it another year and see what comes out. It's just working so well I have no real reason to buy anything else. Also, nothing feels the same in the hand. Yes there are better phones today, but this one is unique.

I like this phone it was decent medium class smartphone easy to manage .Before I had a phone which all the time has to be updated.Camera is not saturated like like galaxy but I like more realistic pics. The end of life and couple coincidents first I pluged into not narrower but wider side input and destroyed entance .I don't see which is wider which is narrower side .When it was repaired screen was lifted and when I washed against covid I saw water inside.Next time I want wireless smartphone.

Booby Pongo, 24 Jan 2021Not for everyone. This is an amazing device, one of a kind ... moreNokia had promised updates for 3 years since launch date. So this phone will get its last update around March/April 2021. Considering this, if your phone is still working without any major hardware fault (software bugs are common even with flagships), it is commendable. Fortunately I did not face any issues so far & I am really happy with the device. The build quality is simply great. I am yet to see similar quality in recent midrangers. The plastic back is of no use if it can't dissipate heat properly. Hopefully Nokia 7.4/6.4 or 8.4 will have something better to offer.

MoOoo, 06 Dec 2020Honestly saying.... this was the best phone I ever owned. ... moreI know USB port is the Achilles heel of Nokia 7 Plus. However knowing this issue reported everywhere, I charged the phone quite carefully always on a flat surface. I never used the provided thick charging cable and instead used a very thin cable which provided minimum stress on the port. Hence I have no issues till date. The Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6.1 to me are one off devices never to be produced again even by Nokia.
I can hold this phone in pitch dark and instantly recognize it to be a Nokia 7 Plus. Such is its unique all metal construction and build quality. I cannot say the same with the current generation of copycat metal glass sandwich phones or even worse plastic phones.

Honestly saying.... this was the best phone I ever owned. Smooth in performance as long as u check your phone not piled up with useless apps and files.
Gaming was good.... bcuz battery was good so I can play at medium settings longer with no problem. And lastly it was Android one device which I love it. Clean software no Bullshit.
The worst part.? Charging problem. That's it. No other complains just the port is the downfall of this phone. Or else this phone will last a decade. Mine died cuz I repaired many times already even I got tired after 1.5yrs of the port shit. No more Nokia. Or else it was a beast.

Maree, 03 Dec 2020Awesome phone, smooth, great design, and cameras better tha... moreNokia 7 Plus is like a piece of gold to me. Once you lost it, near impossible to find another now. I have no complains against the phone, after using it for nearly 1.5 years. To me this phone is the most pure and the best Nokia that ever came out under HMD banner. Why do I say so?
Because Nokia 7 Plus is a material first led design. A pure Nokia. The body is carved out for a single block of 6000 series aluminum and six layers of ceramic feel like paint is applied to it which gives a unique look & feel in the palm while holding the device. Then a cutter is used to shave the paint on four sides by 2.75 mm to again expose the bare metal. Consecutive two layers of anodization process was then performed which gave the bare sides a unique copper like finish. This type of quality construction is long gone.
Inside an internal die cast metal mid-frame is then screwed internally to the metal body which reinforces the core of the device. No less than 19 screws locks the internal metal plate to this unibody gives the Nokia 7 Plus it ultimate structural integrity & durability. This is an approach to engineering that is build to last. It is this strength from inside which I believe inspires the beauty on the outside.
No wonder it won prestigious design awards like EISA, 2018 Best Consumer Smartphone. And also the most durable phone of the year award in 2018 from JerryRigsEverything.
It is also most balanced Nokia phone, the balance between design, craftsmanship, hardware specs, latest trend in terms of 18:9 dispaly, battery endurance, camera capability & price. I own a Nokia 7 Plus, the more eye catching white version in 4/64 GB configuration. Love this device & also my Nokia 6.1.
