[deleted post]I think you would qualify for bizarre posting of the day

Android - a variant on linux, might be ideal fodder for teenboy hackers in their bedrooms when they can't find a girlfriend but really what real world advantage do you think an Android phone brings here? In terms of performance, battery life, user experience, phone call ability, virus protection, stability your android still lags far behind. Try doing something remarkably simple like running out of battery while writing a datafile (perhaps updating an application).
Still, I guess you'll bleat on about the millions of apps on android, perhaps I'll point out the number of built in apps and useful Symbian apps you can add...

I am using Galaxy S2 and my brother using NokiaN8 i can say nokia with 4x slower processor is fast like any android with 1,5ghz ios is fast but limited OS symbian is more amazing os but nokia dont want to make it better and better because of WP7 sick os.. but when they realize that they made a mistake with WP7 they will return Symbian old glory..I am nokia fanboy evin if i use Galaxy s2...sjmbian or android is a matter of taste nokia is known to be the best in terms of all..I would like nokia to make only one phone with android like they do with N9 and show what they can build..

I think the nokia 808 should had a 64gb internal memory with
1.5ghz processor and a 4.3'' screen because one minute of hd recording of 41mp camere would be about 100 to 150 mb and 1 photo maybe 30 or 35 mb so it needs 64 gb and for those hd videos and photos the 4.3'' screen would have been perfect

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2012OMG! cons: weight= 169g OS= symbian(kindah boring) thicknes... moreThe night capability puts it it streets ahead of any smartphone competition which is why it is mentioned so often. In daylight the clarity of the picture and the detail is unrivaled but some might argue that other cameras can also produce decent 5mpix shots in daylight. The fact this can zoom in and produce full detail of a zoomed in pic at 5pmix, or can allow you to save the full image for later zooming/cropping on a pc etc. is also mentioned and equally stunning.
Make no mistake, you won't find a better image from another phone camera, in fact you will be hard pressed to find as good an image from a digital SLR at 30 or more times the weight and volume.

And yes it is chunky, but the industrial design is fantastic, when you get it in your hand it is just a perfect size and shape, balanced, easy to hold, stable to use... a dream. No nasty sharp edges to catch your shirt or trouser pocket either.

Is that a canoe in my codpiece? Nope, its the best camera you've ever smiled at.

OMG! cons: weight= 169g OS= symbian(kindah boring) thickness= 13+mm pros:i would raise my compliment for the sharp imaging though they should have applied some technology to give nice night/dark shots .. not the best in night shot but i could say it would be one of the best or rather superior in daylight captures.

The sensor in this can be measured as 41 or 42 mpix. You can get the full data (the full data not 38 if you know how to write your Symbian app)
The graphics chip in this device is pretty extraordinary and does a lot of the processing for the image and general display which is why the phones core processor doesn't need to rival a cray. The fact the OS is actually also bloody well written also contributes - Symbian OS was a lot of things ahead of its time, one of the main things was it was designed from the start to work on low processor powered, low memory, battery powered devices - that means it won't corrupt your data if the battery drops out of the back or goes flat at an inopportune moment.

Yes it has 41mp camera sensor and maybe a very good in imaging. But regarding its screen resolution, it has very low ppi. Therefore its seems useless for a good camera and it can't beat other latest smartphone like Samsung, Sony or Iphone's screen resolution. Remember we're talking about smartphone, not a digital or "DSLR" camera. It's good if Nokia made it's display resolution higher and a hardware like the N9.
