O2 UK have now sold out and wont be getting them back in till at least the 11/10/2006.

Also dont bother calling to upgrade and expect to get the phone at no cost unless you spend over £100 consistantly over the last 6 months.

      Thanks.

They should release all new phone models simultaneously in all countries - frustrating to read about new models but not available yet in the rest of the world

Hi Roberto , the quick way to transfer your contacts is to use the software which comes with the sirocco, make a back up using the 8800 software then install the new sirocco software and transfer them over , I have just got my new 8800 very pleased with it top phone! far better than original 8800 new menu system is allot better keys easy to text with , and Ive only had it two days but battery seems better

I changed from Nokia 8800 to the new Sirocco, i like it even more than the 8800.
Can somebody give a reply how i can put easy all my contacts (> 500) from the 8800 to the Sirocco? I do not want to put them in again. I like the flight mode on the new Sirocco now i can use the phone also in the plain to play around!

Okay, so, after using this phone for two weeks, my opinion stays the same. I absolutely adore my 8800 Sirocco. I have had no bugs or problems that a few have complained about, and though I never had a problem with it on the original, the volume actually seems to be louder. The battery life lasts about three days for me, and I use my phone constantly.

I do have to add something. Nokia is slipping in the quality assurance department. I have never had any problems with any of my Nokias, but associates of mine have, even with this one. Whether it's with internal bugs, or stange rattling sounds, it's a pain in the rear even if Nokia's warranty covers it all. You just don't expect these sorts of things for such a high end device.

Now, I believe in the saying "to each his own", but criticism is only helpful to the readers if there is something specific being criticized. There is no point in just complaining about the phone in general; no, it does not make you look any better in anyone's "cyber"-eyes. You can not possibly go to bed feeling better about yourself after posting something so rudimentary.

If anyone has any real questions about this phone, there are many of us here more than willing to answer them. I check this site about once every two weeks, so if you just look for my posts, I'll try and help out as best I can. Regards to all...

To the person who complain about the volume. The trick is to get the earpiece correctly to your ear. Initially I had the same problem , than I started to adjust the phone on my ear and I got it right. Try it.

I just ordered mine today as an upgrade from the 8800 which I loved(apart from batt life) cost me £370.

Let you all know what the device is like to use tomorrow but can't wait looks stunning. All those of you who complain about lack of features first and formost what is this device? It does what it says on the tin in style!

I have the 8800 Sirocco for a couple of weeks now. It seems that the volume is small even though it is at the max. I can hardly hear the other person. Anyone have this problem? Any other way to maybe increase the volume? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
