lmfao. the cdma Motorola KRZR K1, K1m, is getting 5 hours of talk time. that's a smaller, -CDMA- device. the gsm KRZR K1 can probably get two weeks standby.
lmao @ nokia's lack of engineering skills. a gsm phone getting beat out by a cdma one.

the 8800 phone isn't the "all the functionalities included" -phone, its more like vertu: luxury looking and feeling phone, the technical specs are decent, but not high end.
So, this phone is for people who want luxury phone, but not for those, who wants those "multimediacomputers". For them there are other phones (E61, E70, N80, N93, N95, 9300i, 9500) available.

Hi folks, stop fighting,at the end the day,it's only a phone(like someone said),ask yourself a simlpe question, what you want and expect from a phone?if you only want to make and receive call+the look+build's quality+don't mind paying high price then this Sirocco is for you.If you're looking for a good phone with all nowaday gaggets+pay a lot less then stay a way from it(go for Samsung or SE or Motorola). It's only a personal matter depend on what you want?what to get and how much you can afford to pay for it?The choices complete are our,go to what you're happy with. The people who's owning a Sirocco is not smart people(like someone think they're) and the people who's not owning one is not stupid people after all(they just don't want to pay a lot for something which doesn't give them what they wanted or just for the look or just to show off and to prove that they own something expensive).

After I follow the latest posts I could say following, everything is personal, some people like the 88xx some people don’t. Some people prefer to have the features, some people prefers to have the looks and the materials from which the phone is made. I’m a big fan of 8xxx, I own 8850, 8910, 8800 and 8800 Special edition and to me the best one is the Special edition. Due to the fact that I’m using a “metal” phones for long time already make me feel very strange when I take a “plastic” phone in my hand…Last but not least, I’m standing behind the words of John Doe; no one from previously mentioned phones has let me down…
Regards to all 8xxx users

to Koureas G,
you obviously dont like this phone.
you have been saying the same old argument since the 8800 came out -CHANGE THE RECORD.
my daily phone is an 8800 in silver. i dont think of it as a 'status symbol' - i use it because it is made of metal and is different to the other plastic phones out there -period.it is a quality phone which has a colour screen, stores phone numbers, i can send and recieve texts, i can check my hotmail via mobile internet on it,and it has a camera in case i want to take a quick photo.
i really dont understand your strong oposition to the 8800 phones Koureas G, people have a choice on which phone they want to buy, and if they want a phone with a 3.2 megapixel camera then they are obviously not going to choose the 8800.
we are all capable of making an informed choice when it comes to purchasing phones, and no-one in their right mind is going to drop 600 euros on this phone without doing their research first, so PLEASE, stop trying to force YOUR opinions onto everyone else.
my previous nokia 6230i was awesome, the 8800 works exactly the same way, but with a lesser quality camera... so how can it be as bad as you say?
12 months on, it has NEVER let me down and i love it, it is the best(and most expensive) mobile phone i have ever owned (and i have owned a lot!) and i can see myself still using it in another 12 months time....
there, a review of the 8800 series phone by an actual owner/user, as opposed to all these haters moaning about how poor the camera is.
long live 8800

Why is it that on ebay you can find this phone for as little as 300 Euros (about $400?) brand new?
