          I think Nokia 7.1 plus won't see the daylight. Nokia 8.1 will come out as the same device but higher price.

                Anonymous, 21 Oct 2018I am planning to buy this phone, is TFT diaplay so bad in c... moreTft has poor viewing angles, more battery consumption, low cost display and display is not that sharp when compared to ips lcd but I think Hmd using Hdr 10 supported display on 7.1 plus and I dont know exactly what it is? but if tft on 7.1 plus equals 7 plus ips display and you re satisfied with the display then buy it. I'm satisfied with my 7 plus white phone. It's a good phone but price is little bit high for my 7 plus but 7.1 plus your getting at low price with 710 chipset. so take it but only exception check out for display quality and satisfied with it , buy it.

                  This phone does not have NFC? Quite a bummer becoz I need NFC so that I can use mobile payments.

                    This phone will be called 8.1 instead of 7.1 Plus.

                                Mr.x, 18 Oct 2018Bro Nokia launch it's smartphone first in China and then af... moreHey buddy it has got Tft display than used Ips lcd on 7 plus . know more about Tft display then buy it if you are happy with the display and Tft display is cost less with cons than Ips so the price of the phone is very less around 18 to 20 k when compared to 7 plus 26k in india due to less display cost. Just google Tft vs ips and read quora answers as Tft as cons to Ips but even with Tft if 7.1 plus display equals 7 plus then grab on at low price with 710 chipset as I purchased my beautiful looking 7 plus white at 26k in hyderabad and Im from india.

But you can disable notch in settings for sure in this phone but dont upgrade buddy wait a year or 2 if you can, you will get more advanced features phones.

How is price lower than 7 Plus / 6.1 Plus?They are using TFT lcd than IPS LCD used on Nokia 7 plus and Tft display cost way less when compared to IPS LCD and it has some or many cons than Ips display. Google Tft vs ips and read quora answers ,you will know .so Tft is less price display thus lowers the price of the phone.Simple.
