Aaron, 11 Mar 2011Nokia should've learned by now. It's not good to make its l... moreDude, whatever you've got against C7 or Nokia or Symbian.. Keep it to yourself.
Have you ever had a hands-on on this phone?
If you had, then you ruddy well wouldn't say "Androids user experience is much better" !!
User Interface is one thing, User Experience is, by far, another !!!
You say hardware doesn't matter, eh?
All those sub-20k Android cheapsters have got snail-like processors which aren't capable of handling the bloody OS !
I got rid of an HTC Wildfire within a week. Got pissed with the slow speed and such a complicated, and unstable OS.
You think Users will have a better Experience (MARK MY WORDS SILLY BOY) on a UI that slows down after you run 2-3 apps simultaneously.?
Grab a Nokia C7, if anyone is willing to lend you one, and test the multi-tasking on it.
Run 3 HD games simultaneously, and if it hangs or crashes or even slows down, take my C7 for free.

Mind you, hardware does matter, and OS stability is what users expect.
Android's a new born baby, it may take time to mature and stabilize, till then it would be blown-off by Intel's MeeGo.

Talking about sales, 90% of the buyers wouldn't know what the difference between a phone and a Smartphone is. Being able to play with a Talking Tom, or set-up customisable screens with some playful apps is all what people like you get satisfied with.
We don't need toys, we need hand phones..
Hand phones, that are capable of handling real business, fast processing, stability, better connectivity and most of all, BETTER HARDWARE !!

Tariq, 09 Mar 2011Dear All I am going to purchase C7, can any one tell me th... moreBest Deal in DELHI/NCR --- Rs 16,650.

Excellent phone, I must say. My best Nokia so far. Best in class hardware and features. Don't bother about the UI, it's not the worst in the Smartphone market. It's much stabler than those cheap, slaggish Android toys.
Trust me, you won't regret buying this at all.

PS: It plays real cool HD games, that too on a "nHD AMOLED" which you'll never be able to experience on a sub-20k Android toy.
      Cheers.

torrentblock, 11 Mar 2011er... use OVI maps? I have google maps running on my C7,... moreI second that..I have Google maps on my C7 as well, but I never use it..cos OVI maps has free voice navigation and pretty good maps..better still, maps are cached to your phone so you can use them offline and not waste extra money on internet charges.

Nokia should've learned by now. It's not good to make its loyal customers disappointed. And it's not good to repeat the same mistakes over and over again. I wonder what happened to Nokia. It used to be the best. It used to be at the top. It used to be the forerunner in everything. But now, it's just gone bad. Same mistakes repeated. Slow development. Unclear progress path. Late, outdated and irrelevant. It's just all messed up now. Nokia used to laugh at Android and Apple. But now the tables are turned. It's now Android and Apple mocking Nokia. Apple and Android are now at the top of the high-end smartphone market. Their handsets sell in tens of millions of units. Nokia nowadays is struggling to crack even the 5 million sales mark of its highend handsets. The only thing that's keeping Nokia alive is its midrange to entry-level phones. And whose fault is it? Nokia! The customers have always been loyal to Nokia. But Nokia reciprocated that loyalty with only failure and disappointment. Just look at the Nokia N8. Yes, it's probably the best smartphone Nokia has ever produced. It's probably the most feature-rich device out right now. But it's also the most problematic. Board problem at the start of release. AMOLED problem now. Slow Symbian software updates. Nokia only know how to make hardware and add features, but they suck on implementation and they are poor in execution. They should realize that hardware and features are not the only important things that make up a good smartphone. Software and user experience should also be prioritized. Symbian is fully functional but the user interface is boring and outdated, and the user experience is just poor. Nokia hardware are top notch but most are faulty and defective. More people buy the iPhone 4 no matter how expensive it is because it offers the best user experience. The N8, no matter how cheap it is still can't attract more prospective buyers because it's infamous for having countless hardware and software issues.
So to those fanboys who still want to bear with Nokia, if you're still satisfied with your phone, good for you and good luck to all of you. But to those who have experienced the inconvenience of any sort of using Nokia, come on, give it up guys. Don't stick with the company who have betrayed you, betrayed us. We paid Nokia the full amount it asked us in exchange of their products but they did not deliver us the good user experience that we deserve. And to those planning to buy a Nokia device now, I suggest that you look elsewhere. Symbian has already been pronounced "dead" just last month. No matter what updates are on the way, no matter what excuses they say, Symbian will soon be dead. You don't want to invest your hard-earned money on a dead platform, right?

Nokia C7, a tremendous phone, one of the best available in the market in this price range. I am using it for more than a month, updated the software from nokia server and have no problem using this phone.
                                  I strongly recommend it.

Torn between this phone or Samsung Galaxy Ace, I am leaning toward C7 due to better battery life and Free GPS without a data plan.
