fantastic device ... this E50 manage my daily activities, just connected with my PC and do seamless synchronization... the only prob is some times bit slow, in case we run 2 tasks at the same time...

I have e50, and it can set the music player in background, every s60 phone can do it, no exception.
Thats why they call it SMARTphone.
And if u wish 2 install 3rd party music player, u can do it, becoz this is smartphone.
About ur network operator, i cant help u out, i stay in indonesia.

Olamide u right, that is overprice. In indonesia its only 1.4 million rupiah (about 140 USD).

E50 is the worst phone I ever had. I never had a phone that freeze almost every day and I have to take out the battery It is blocking on loud speaker, sometimes you cannot call.
The guys from Nokia knew why they put metallic case on it, because it is often smash to the ground because of it good performance.

Hi,
Can any E50 user help me with some facts ??
for all the nice things written about this mobile, i am on the verge on buying this model, but some particular features becomes a issue.
1 )I checked out the phone and noticed that the default music player cant be run in the background, i.e u cant send sms or play games while listening to music , is it true ??
2) is it possible to use a third party music player which could be used in the background ??
3) i stay in india, i want to know how is the gprs of idea network compared to airtel ??is it fast ??
pls help me with these issues,

this is the best phone ever.I have this phone for an year and i love it.I had once a problem with the soft but after the upgrade work just fine.

go:
Menu>Tools>Application Administration
(sorry for bad translation, mine is in spanish)
then delete them from there, the'll be well deleted

NONE.
this phone has only 1 flaw, camera, it sucks, the rest is perfect, but I have other 1.3mpx cellphones that have better compression software with higher quality (2 Alcatel's).

Now THIS is what I call a mobile phone. My previous one was the 1101 model and I'm glad my mother is using it now. The best phone ever!

By far the best - in design, functions and performance. its metallic black body is simply superb. It only lacks a good camera above 2MP.

Someone there asking for themes. I too faced problem as available themes on my PC that I used on my nokia 6630 did not work on it. I googled and found a site where themes available based on phone model, free of cost. It is www.onsmartphone.com Enjoyyyyyyy

Can anybody tell me how to change the ringtones? i can only seem to do it per contact and not for all incoming calls.
