Nokia E50 - User opinions and reviews

Great phone, great design (black edition), excellent functions, a bit slow compared to regular phones but hey, when u sincronize it with outlook u see the true power in such a small package.
The only problem is the free soft...very very scarce! Any hints?

hell0 allz... great phone..but i have a probelm...:D o fon't know how to se the picture full screen (photocall), when someone calls me.. any idea?:D

E50 OS is Symbian OS9.1 S60 3rd Edition. therefore, it won't support old .sis file meant for previous symbian versions

umm... i would lake to ask the same question, why i cant install .SIS files..:// and could anyone tell me where i can download some programs for my e50 phone? :/

hello can anyone tell me why i am not able to install .sis (symbian) softwares on my phone as it is a symbian phone right? and the only software i can install is .jar file that is java. please help me out

hey here is a big doubt
N72 E50
1)has 2 megapix camera 1)has 1.3 megapix
2)has Fm radio 2)no Fm
3)but is heavy and bulky 3)but is lighter
and sleek
4)it is cheaper
also
so which one should i prefer am more into music and not a business man

Do not post a wrong information! I use BL-6C with e50 for 3 monthes and it works great.

The BL-6C battery is NOT COMPATIBLE with E50. It is compatible however with E70 and N-Gage QD.
DO NOT buy BL-6C for E50 because you won't be able to put the battery cover back.

I have been using E50 since a couple of months now. I have used a hell lot of phones in the past with recent phones being 9500, 9300, N70, 9300i... had the 6110, 6210 in the past.. and now E50 & 9300i. I personally feel E50 is the best phone I have ever had. It is totally amazing. I feel so proud using it everyday. The talk time is great, phone is just outstanding in every department. Since the introduction of camera phones, I have always been particular abt the camera, but in the E50, I dont use. I respect the 1.3 MP Camera but I rarely use it. Looking fwd now to add the N95 to my collection. Probably leave the 9300i for reading my PDFs, reoccuring alarms which i miss in the E50 and WiFi. E50 is simply the best Nokia to date in my opinion. Ive had this phone for over 4 months now, Design wise its understated but elegant. Its functionality is 10/10 , keys have a great feel and the speaker is A+!. Initially i had an issue with the joy pad coz it was hard, but now ive gotten used to it so its all right . Overall i would give it a 8/10 as the Os is sometimes a little slow when your phone book exceeds 1000+.
