Which phone should I choose? E50 or 6300. I am strictly a business user with very less focus on media files, music and camera functions.

i`ve been using this phone for 2 mont`s and its great. The batery live suits me. but can y tell me where can i find a free software that work`s on this phone and a firmware update.

great phone, i love the internal memory! and battery life, reminds me of the old 6310. excellent business phone with a few little goodies on the side. i urge anyone to purchase

To lock your keypad - press Left Soft key (Blue one, above the menu key) i.e. top left key and then press *.
I bought this 4-5 days ago - phone is excellent, though camera might have been improved a little bit.

Been using this phone for last 1 month. Font size is too small, very difficult to read the stored phone numbers. The phone open the messaging application and others very slowly. Needed the birhtday feature, it's a real sore miss.Most important, should have incorporated the reminder to telephone as an easy function in the calendar. Also very difficult to insert names and numbers from the contacts list into a sms.
All other features are value for money.

Hi, got myself a black E50, but the games and other applications i tried to download from getjar didnt work, it always says xyz.sis is not supported on your phone. Can anyone tell me what to do????? Thanks

Q: How can I lock the keypad when it is in standby .. ?
Can I set the phone to keypad-lock itself with a timer ?(I saw a feature like this but it requires a code)

I have some queries
1. how many SMS can i save in the phone or memory card ?
2. can i transfer my SMS to my PC ?
3. can i record my calls on the phone and then transfer it to PC ?
4. how long should i record my phone calls and if i just want to record voice how long will it record ?
5. can i lock my personal folders like message folder and songs folder etc. ?

I have had this fone for nearly two weeks, and I really like it. Loads of memory, and have installed some programmes. The only downside to it is the font, it is small. The battery power is fantastic, four days of moderate usage of fone, better than the 7390 which was poor in battery powery, yet I liked the font of that. You can't win!!!

vishal - sorry wrote 6630 instead of 6670 , yup the e50 is better than the 6670 and also the 6300 , go for the e50

vishal - oh please , dont compare the two its like compairing a merc and a fiat , get the e-50 , ive been using it for a month now , it is fab , if u dont surf the net and screw around with the phone too much it wont hang and wont go to speaker phone automatically ( which r some of the problems mentioned here ) also yes the font is small and could be bigger but ull crib only for the first week and then u get use to it , the camera is so so , not as good as the 6630 even though they r both 1.3 mega pix , hope this helps , get the e-50 black , should cost u around 10.400 inr , or maybe even chaper now

phone speaker are nice. but the sonic experience is enhanced if you use stereo headsets

Its a very nice looking phone and the most important its a symbian 3rd edition phone.I am using Nokia 6670 and I want to replace it with E50 because of its screen resolution(240*320).Can any E50 user tell me how is the sound through external speaker and stereo headset when listening to music.Is the sound clear and loud enough.Please reply me,I will be thankful to you.

I brought it 5 days back,bat back is not so good as claimed.also it hanged during surfing and playing video.
