the only thing that i don't like...it dosen't have wlan...excepting that is the best phone ever.

I own E50 mtal black and I don't have such a problem. Also, there is a new firmware version that boosts the speed of starup to 20 secund from the previous 45 seconds, as well as increasing the speed of menu.

I want to buy the e50 the black version.I read on some forums that the e50 has an sound problem.During a call the person you talk to hears you in echo.Have you experienced such problem in every day use?

My previous phone was a 3200 and I now have the e50. Mp3 sound through the speaker is very good according to me, turning on the phone takes way more time than my old 3200. the screen is great

E50 is good busness phone but in software problem is very and mobaile every time hang.

The quality of mp3 is very good, but you have to buy a good stereophones. The ones in retail box that comes with a phone aren't good at all. In fact they're mono (only one earpiece).
I own the metal black version and it's only different by color, everything else is the same as the other color variants. Note that E50 is not made of metal, its's half metal half plastick. The metal parts are only front panel and the battery cover. Everything else is plastic.
all in all its a very good phone, very well build and the symbian is really fast and stable.

Hellow ppl,i'm going to buy that phone,so i would like to ask few things :
1]How is the MP3 quality with earphones ?
Or just how is the MP3 quality ?
2]Does the "Metal Black" version of Nokia e50 has same stainless steel? I mean metal black is from stell too ?

well... take it from me fellas.. other than the fact that the memory cost an arm and a leg and its a tad bit slow... its a spiffy cell... even though the cam is 1.3 MP it looks like a 2 MP itself... even on the display as well as on the big screen... the sound quality is really good as per me, but of course... it wont feel that way with the skimpy ear phones thats bundled... use one of yer own with the adapter and its really good, it has GPS, but we dont have a service satillite where i am yet... so i dont know how much i can make use of it, take it from me tho... me being a person who doesnt know his own city so very well... i could definately use that service. Lastly the black model is really eye catching, its sleek, stylish. it has almost every feature the N70 has and more and costs atleast 2000 less (regualr N70) and a whopping 4 grands lesser than the N70 Music edition.

Font size is not that big but it's nog problem yet. If you have bleutooth on, it's not obvious to see in stand by mode. Phone has crashed several times during my one day usage, but it doesn't matter as long as it is not a fatal problem. I have installed Autolock, it works great. You can see that it has no connection with the standart menu because it even locks the phone after the time you've set while you have the menu open.

Doesn't have radio, but it can also play wma and wav.

I just got the E50 and am using it on Cingular in San Franciso. Man this is one hell of a phone! Highly recommended!
