I was using the nokia n73!! Horrible fone i mst say... I gave it away and got the Nokia e50.. Well i hv to say this is one of the best fones nokia cud hv made... for all those ppl who can do without a trendy cam.. go ahead n pick it up .. im sure u r gonna luv it...

phone is excellent in features. better than all the n series. but lacks signal reception. very bad signal receiving quality. i had to return the phone and go for se m600i

I just got a new Nokia E50 and I love it. It was easy to link with Outlook and I downloaded a few themes from this site. However, the default font on the phone is so microscopic it renders general usage almost impossible unless I carry around a magnifying glass. I purchased a few applications from Handango and they all have large readable fonts. It is a complete mystery to me why Nokia doesn't ship with software to easily change fonts particularly at the price they charge for the E50.
At any rate, I read through this forum and it looks like on older Symbian phones you can change the font but I'm not sure about the E50. If it is possible, can you please give me instructions or give me a pointer to the correct site.

i like the sleekness of the phone.. but some features are sad.. like when u switch off the phone, the theme changes to nokia default.. not many softwares available..

@sunny The phone does accept .sis files!!! The aplication you whant to install must be for symbian S60 3rd series to be accepted by the phone. Try it!

The phone works with HS-23, HS-20 stereo headphones.

Best phone i ever used, and i have used a lot of phones. The handset seems to loose signal for a few seconds when you move it, but even with no bar signals the handset acceps calls and sms.

You can´t get fullscreen wallpapers on Symbian 9.1 phones. It´s quite odd but that´s the case. :S
Only themes will be fullscreen I think.

Drez ... you have to open the battery cover to access the microSD memory slot. So remove the cover and then look on the side of phone.
farbod ... great call on the Krusell case. It is perfect ... stylish and fits my phone like a glove.

hi every one..
m new here,but m gonna buy NOKIA E50.but in features it display that this set is not 3G enabled.
plz tell me what does it means?? will it play 3GP movies or not..plz help me asap.

YEs thumps up to this phone - I've upgraded from the 6230 to this one its a tad longer but no problems - earpiece doesn't heat fater 10 mins and the fonts don't have a problem- Very sleek the message reader is a plus and the "say caller name" as well

HI, i have this nice phone but i have still problem with losting network. When I put phone in my hand after few secinds phone lost signal. Have anybody experiences with same problem? Thnks

Hi
I am searching for a symbian phone, that syncs perfectly with outlook. I have lotsa info in my outlook including birthday details. When you set birthday in outlook it automatically set it to the calender. My crappy p910i hasnt got that feature.
Does e50 syncs the birthday, pics with outlook? Or which details E50 does not sync with outlook.
