How is the sound through a stereo handsfree(The MP3's most importantly)??? This is the only thing that makes me w8...In every other way i love this phone :)

Yes E50 van play .rm video/audio files.It has real plyer pre-installed.

The phone supports Nokia OS 9.1 softwares.Same as N73, 3250, N93, N91, N80 etc.

Joystick looks very sturdy and is very easy to use.It is not like the rubbish Sony Erricson joysticks.

The phone has got a 220 Mhz processor.It is second fastest for a symbian phone only after N93.Also it has got about 20MB of free RAM which is more thatn the likes of N80.So no question of speed,the phone is quite fast to use.

one month back i purchased the the E50 handset performance is not so good ,it's very complicated & all software is not supported i think i had done the mistake to purechased this handset this is my blunder mistake i had done ever.

E50 in metal black is out already and looks good, better than the silver version.

i have had this phone for 1 month and to be honest its probably one of the worst phones i have had from the nokia range, slow, not easy to use, speaker is terrible, echos, and the battery needs charging every other day. i had the 8800 before and i wish i had kept it now. sorry not good !!!!

A few comments...
* mine never heated up, not even after 1hr. conversations
* the sound quality through the external speaker is very good / very loud
* I get 2 days heavy use out of a charge on the battery
* joystick seems well built, no reliability issues or poor build detected so far
* only real drawback with this phone is that the software hangs from time to time, for no apparent reason. For some reason, it tends to put the external speaker on when it hangs. This can be rather annoying because when you have an incoming call, everybody can hear what the other party is saying as you're trying to pull the battery out to reset the phone.

Guys does anybody know if the joystick is durable enough? had some bad comments on previous models with joystick.
also is the standard battery long enough to last more than 2 days on regular use?

First let me clear some myths about E50
1:It doesn't have small fonts.To prove it I will post here some screenshots from the phone soon.
2:The phone doesn't heat up even after an hour of talking on the phone.
3:The sound quality through headphones is as good as N73, 6233 etc.

This Phone is the business. It rocks my world best phone ever.Why would you want a blackberry this phone does it all. And its smaller and more stylish than a b.berry

Its sound qulity through hs-23 head phone is same as 6233 ,it is good.

Please help me friends.Please please please.I will be thankfull to you.I want to know about the music quality of E50 through the speaker and also through the earphone.I am using N72 and planning to buy n6233 because of its music quality but I also want to have symbian phone.Please don't forget to tell me about the speaker's sound quality.Does the speaker sounds better?Please reply me friends.

I bought it five days ago and totally satisfyed with it. I was using nokia 6630 before and I've to say e50 is much faster in its operations.

@priyank i think it is a problem with your phone, it's not normal to change to default theme after restart.

DREZ .....the memory card slot is on the left
side when u lift the steel back cover!!
a micro sd mmc slot!!
