Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Krusell does good leather cases for many phones, including this Nokia E51.

The E66 seems globally a bit better than the E51 but I do not like slider phones so I bought an E51 (which is also cheaper).

yes, you can listen to music using it, but buy an EXPENSIVE bluetooth headset, or it will produce low quality sounds

I recommend this phone to all. I am use it from 12.22.2007, and all that I can say is briliant!I have had no problems with it, the battery keeps 3-4 days in voice call and 2-3 days if I`m useing wi-fi.

How do I delete themes that I have installed on the E51? The dedicated delete key does not seem to work, and I cannot find any other options to delete themes?

I am a former Treo user (hated it) and have owned numerous S40 Nokias in the past. I was tired of the awful options available through carriers in the U.S. and refuse to pay $80/month for a phone that I can't de-option the data plan and still use (i.e. G1 and iPhone).

I bought this phone unlocked 3 weeks ago; it is the best mobile phone I have ever owned. It is the perfect compromise for people like me who hate bulky pda/blackberry form factors, are not addicted to mobile email/text, care about contact management, reliability, quality/durability, yet want typical pda/blackberry features to use in a pinch. I have not been disappointed; especially in build quality. I shopped other phones first -- especially the Bold (anticipating the 8900 on Tmobile) -- but can say that, in the U.S., the only phone that feels as durable & well constructed as the E51 (and E71) is the iPhone. I can't justify spending $400 for the E71, but I would definitely recommend it over a Blackberry if you want QWERTY. Besides the fact that I greatly prefer Symbian, the Blackberry Bold's screen felt just as fragile as my old Treo.

I was wary of the battery life of the E51 after reading so many comments online, but I think I have figured out why so many are experiencing a problem: I read in Nokia's forums that in S60, if you don't make sure to exit out of each application before launching another (or leaving it on standby), the processor continues running, eating away at your battery life. It is cumbersome to have to remember to keep going back into the menu and exiting each application, but I'm doing it and am consistently realizing 3+ days easily without a charge on light voice/text usage (including some Wi-Fi browsing). I don't need to use the E51 as a music player, GPS, etc, just basic phone, SMS, web, email, and camera.

3G only on ATT, but I have Tmobile. Wi-Fi @ home and @ Starbucks is good enough access for my needs. Setup is a breeze and Tmobile has all the necessary U.S. network / sms / mms settings available online. No problem.

Best of all, I have all this functionality, one-year mfg warranty, and am paying $40/month with no contract while everyone else I know is spending $80/month on two-year contracts. This was the right choice for me and I highly recommend it to any U.S. users who aren't addicted to Blackberry's or iPhones. Its leaps and bounds better than most Nokia products you'll buy subsidized by a U.S. carrier.

i love my e51. i got it last may2008 and so far, i have nothing against it - until last month when i realized the side rubber buttons for the volume has faded and is worn out. i think this is due to constant rubbing when i take it out of my pocket and when i place it in. aside from that, i can have my two thumbs up for this - bulk of applications for its cost.
