how to know the firmware type? that's 100 or 300 while buying a new E 51? I want to buy a new one with good firmware. which i should buy?

Great phone for business. Yes, display is only 2 inches...but I bought it specifically because its a pocket size phone. Display quality is superb for the size. No GPS, true. But for 70 bucks, buy a good bluetooth GPS receiver and you'll get better reception to boot. I also own an E90...which I have have kept at home since I bought the E51.

Very good phone indeed and about those 4 h and 20 minutes it's a lie a just talked for about 5 hours and i still have 2 lines. Good job nokia

The phone is great but I want to ask something. My camera is in the green gama. I know that E51's pics r more in the green gama however is there some way to fix that?

Hi,it's 8 months that i'm using this phone, it' great, i have 8GB microSDHS Class 6 installed on it, it working great, the only (-) that i see is: no GPS, small 2" display. I LOVE MY E51.

I wanna buy new HP ... moreI would get E51 if only for the number of E65s I have seen returned. E51 is a far more reliable model as far as early life failure statistics go.
Features are virtually the same excepting very small differences in SDRAM (in favour of E65) and CPU (in favour of E51), and E51 runs the later version of OS.

3G is basically a faster, multimedia network that allows for sharing videos, pictures and emails and making video calls among other features.

good,cute,simple..and fast phone........acceps almost all nokia softwares...good memmory....
in short...powerfull
cn any one tell me how to delete...themes i have downloaded and installed????????????
and free call recording software...for this phone
and......be careful with side volume buttons...it comes off on frequent usage...{the only dffect i found with my E51}

trust me its the best nokia ive ever used it has great battery life(if you put 3G off it lasts 4 5 days)great fast respons i had no kind of problem in allmost 2 years usage

abidal kani, 14 Jan 2009i want to buy e51 nokia should i buy or just leave it gimme... moreE51 is the one of them best E class Business phone wich i had nvr seen in this rate i mean its total worth of money.nice battry,gud speed,user friendly,gud music+sound & also with business application.E71 is also gud but only 4-5 diffrance btwn thm so ithink go with E51,,,What I really like about this phone is the compactness and the feature load it incorporates in such a small size. It practically has all the features one would require plus you can install numerous others through 3rd party software providers. I have often come across comments which crib about the camera quality. I personally find it quite acceptable and have even printed (4x6 size) many photos taken with the device. I have never faced any problems of the device freezing or getting hanged as some have said. I also want to thank those who being quite knowledgeble and generous share there knowledge through this forum and help each other learn new things about the phone. Keep up the good work.
E71 is also gud but only 4-5 diffrance btwn thm so ithink go with E51,,,
