Had my E51 for a while, and happened to be a best phone I ever had. But a while ago I hear that my earpiece is not so strong like it used to be. I could speak in a noisy enviroment, people talking etc., but now I have to run away from noise to talk and its not clear either. Is it dust in my earpiece or is it something else? Any one had problems like this? Ear piece is set to max!

It's really the best choice after 6310, but recently I'v got a quetsion. pls help me. How can I use the memory in the phone and in the sim at the same time. 10x in advance!

I sold my 6300. I always sell my old phones when I get new ones.
I'm now resident in the E51 forum.
Other than s40 having a few telephony advantages, s60 is fine.
You can read a recent post from me stating the advantages s40 telephony have over s60. Just search for s40 or telephony using the forum search feature.
How's your other half doing ?
Which phone do you plan to move on to after E51 ?
I should be migrating to E71 soon.
I still may keep my E51 because I really like it.

I bought this ph... moreYou didn't state clearly the corruption Nokia PC Suite have with your system.
However, my advice to you is to remove the entire PC Suite. When I say remove everything I mean PC Suite and everything associated with it which includes Connectivity Cable Driver, Flash Cable Driver, Nokia PC connectivity etc.
I find that the new PC Suite have some connection issues.
Nomally restarting the PC fixes the connection problem.
For best results trying obtaining earlier versions of PC Suite...which will be fairly difficult as Nokia's site only shows the latest.
You can Yahoo it or Google it.
A 8GB MicroSD will work without problems based on theoretical evaluations and official reports from major reviewing companies.

norman, 23 Dec 2008Good phone but after just 6 days of use the options key has... moreNORMAN I experienced the same thing with my E51 just now but the thing is mine fell to the ground and then I noticed the options key was very hard to press, extremely stiff.
I examined it carefully and realised the side of the keypad was out of the groove, it was raised a tad bit. To get it back in the groove I had to push the options key to the right. Works best if you use your fingernail.
It's NOT easy to see that it's out of the groove maybe that's why you haven't noticed it...if that's indeed the case with you. Please let me know the outcome.

hi anyone can help me? i have this phone for almost a week, i have games but i cant hear any sounds when im playing the games, i always enable the sounds when the games started, but still no sounds, can anyone help me ? so that i can hear the sounds while im playing

i think nokia e51 is an excellent phone.
you mus download mobile sis signer and make certifications with this program. you must download x-plore to manage your folders on e51. and then you can download everything on your e51.

2. Can I use 8GB Memory Card in Nokia E51, and I am filling all 8GB whether my E51 will slow down its day to day process.

I had my E51 for about a year now and I simply love the phone like a real baby. But recently, i noticed that my side rubber keypads appears to have melt or something like disfigured. Funny thing I do not recall placing it at any hot surface or some sort.
Wonder if this can be replaced through the Nokia Care Shops? Pls help. Cheers!

i have a 2gb card from my 5310. and when i put it in my e51, in the music player it reads it like the card is 1gb and i can't play all my songs. i don't want to upgrade my software. is there a solution for my problem. please contact me on my mail: johnny_kick_ass@hotmail.com

Good phone but after just 6 days of use the options key has virtually stopped working (must be pressed very hard to work, so hard it nearly beaks the key) which is a slight problem as it is the unlock key aswell!!!. once automatically locked it is a mission to unlock it!!!. The home button has also become hard to operate. not as bad as the options but still hard. Any ideas??
