Can you please tell me whether this phone support downl... moreFirst of all this phone supports push email. don't worry about the email capabilities of this phone. its just a matter of doing the set ups.
Comparing the sound quality with the Nokia 6600 i would say the E51 is ahead. i've personally used both the legendary 6600 & the legendary 6630. so in my opinion the sounds are a lot better. but the new releases of the N series has better sound quality than the E51. The N81, N82, N95 and so on. But better than the older ones like the N70, N90 etc.

A very good phone.
It would be even better if it had more powerful cam, lets say a 3.2MP CarlZeiss comparing to the 2MP it has, and a secondary cam in the front. Very nice slim look but be careful not to brake it like a chocolate, however I dropped it from about a meter to a hard surface and nothing happend, it worked again. Very easy to work with keys, shortcuts, easy internet browsing and very good meny too. The best phone I ever had and the best in its category. Only N78 can be better than E51. I recommend you to buy it as it is worth the money.

Hey.... I just found out one more new feature.... Which is Msg Reader.... But i can't find its settings. How can i slower the speed with which the msg is read.

I bought a Nokia E51 last week and it is so nice and user friendly that I would recommend everybody with a budget constraint to buy it as a substitute to N Series of Nokia or expensive Sony Ericsson models.

Also let me know how is the sound quality. Is the sound quality equal to Nokia 6600 series or N series???

This is a wonderful phone, i purchased two of these three months ago and i am really happy with the performance.
In this price, i can say it is better than my HTC touch leaving aside that it lacks screen size and touch screen. Otherwise it is far ahead in all fields.
I recommend this set to all .

I think I understand the problem. My E51 doesn't suffer from this problem, but my eversmart 6670 has this problem since they day I bought that. It's a kind of screen sound, I mean it comes from the screen, when the screen light is on.
I noticed that if the brightness of the display is kept at the highest, the sound disappears. Most probably, the mechanism which regulates the brightness, generates the sound when active.
But I don't think it to be a big issue to feel worried! Despite that faint zzz sound my 6670 is running flawlessly for 3 long years!
And that zzz problem is not very uncommon to nokia devices. Many nokia suffer from this as one may find from the posts in net.
