Hello ppl. Just wanted to ask is it sensible to buy E71 when u hav got similar features in E51 at a lower price??

Hello everyone... You all remember me. I'm the teenager from South Africa.
This time I want to ask someone something.
Now just for the sake of my education, can someone tell me if you can use the Wi-Fi feature as a modem for your computer? In other words, can you connect your E51 to your computer(That doesn't have Internet) via USB or Bluetooth and use the Wi-Fi to connect to an ADSL Router(That supports Wi-Fi)? I know that you can use 3G to connect to the internet if you connect your phone to a computer, but I don't want to waste my money with 3G if I can use my parents' money on the ADSL.
And another thing:
Would it be faster to use the Internet with Wi-Fi or with 3G? Because I heard that it is very fast to use the 3G, but I also know that 3G isn't always that good - especially considering the not so well service provider that I'm on (I can't tell you which one, I might get sued)?

ember, 28 Jul 2008this phone has real player but it can't play mp4 videos, ca... morethis phone can play MP4. download the new nokia pc suit. it has the video converter. i have converted more than 50 videos to mp4 format and all of them worked perfectly fine.

when i connect it to USB mass storage i get a message of cards is used by application inable to use mass storage mode.. i can't use it using my pc.. or i can't connect it on my component.. i could do that using my 6300 but with this phone, i can't..

I am considering this phone, i like its design over the N95. On the specs, N95-8gb have a - Dual ARM 11 332 MHz CPU while the E51 got ARM 11 369 MHz processor. Which is faster on the two? Does it mean N95 got a dual core processor?
E71 has the same CPU as the E51 but according to reviews, E71 is faster than N95-8G. Can someone enlighten me on this?

I have e51 and I really love it .. only issue is that I get a blurred or a strange sound while I am talking ... its like sound guys adjusting speakers in teh events. can anyone help me in this

Hi everyone, phone is looking good, little bit complicated after 6300.
However in writting sms I cannot find smiles on * button neither receive graphic signs :), :( etc.
Anybody help to set this??

michael, 27 Jul 2008how can i update the firmware whn i connect to updater does... morecheck out ur product code of E51 buddy. Firmware update is not available for all products.
U can find ur product by removing battary.
Then u should go on nokia website at E51 phone software update page now enter product code in "can i update?" option. Then they will provide u info about firmware update for ur device. Hope this info helps u.

hey guys, i had found that every one experincing a problem about camera shutter sound, so am giving simple solution for u.
Now u have to use other software which is "PHOTORITE" this software available at "wapain.net"
This software is really good and does not produce camera sound and it also cantains funny stuff.
There no other way to switch that sound.

lol.christian maybe u have problem,can say ur phone seting.you know what the only video online u can watch on this mobile is youtube and if you want some adult video and free to download visit. www.wapberry.com.

Ive have a nokia e51 and I access the internet daily. However I am unable to view videos online e.g. You Tube or any video service. Im not sure what to do to change this. I think I need to download some software. Does anyone know anything ?
