A very good device from Nokia that proofs still to be able to develop a mobile of high quality. Finally a new Top product from Finland

must be one of the better mobiles right now on the market. I use it since 3 weeks and really happy with it. Installed Fring on it for internet calls via Skype. works fine

I do own a Nokia E51 White Silver (Stainless Edition). I also worked for Nokia as a Design Engineer. I will give you some tips and tricks that can be useful for your sleek E51 and to use its maximum features.
Trick Number 1
When you want to speed up the system response of the phone go to call log and change it from lest say 30 days to just 1 day. ( Unless you are very keen in tracking your phone log )
Trick Number 2
To prolong the battery life, please do close unwanted application on the phone by pressing the house icon for 2 seconds and press the clear button to exit it.
You can also change the 3G network to GSM mode when you are not expecting a video call, MMS, or using the mobile internet.
When the " Low Battery" message appears and you wanted to prolong your battery life for a few more hours, simply decrease the phone volume, deactivate vibrator mode, and lower the phone brightness. This will give you 2 hours more of standby time in cases of emergency.
Trick Number 3
Please do always use the synchronize feature of the phone to save relevant data and update it once a week if possible.You can back up all the files of the phone including your MMC.
Trick Number 4
Proper charging of the phone makes the battery life last longer. You do charge your phone when its totally empty and not when its in a "low battery mode". The battery has microchip implanted with a memory that can recognize when the phone is to be charged totally and when its not. Not completely charged battery for E51 might result in a poor battery life. Mine normally last 5 days with WI-FI running, SMS, MP3 and bluetooth for business use.
Trick Number 5
To have a longer battery life that can last from 3-5 days. Pls do close all unwanted application when on standby mode. Do this by pressing the House Icon for 2 seconds and press the X Pencil to close it succesfully. You might also want to switch to GSM Mode compare to 3G when you will not be using any of the 3g Service. It will save you 40% of your battery life.
Trick Number 6
Using your Wi-Fi service is made easy as it was designated on your standby screen in just one click of a button. You can check the strenght the wi-fi signal or hotspot by going to >Connectivity>Connectivity Manager> Available WLAN> Options > Detailed. it will give you the type of connection and the strenght of point of connectivity like whetehr it is 100% or 50%. If is an infrastructure you might find difficulty in most cases with an unsatbel reception and would give you an error (No gateway reply!)
Trick Number 7
Your E51 can accomodate up to 8GB of Expandable Memory for extra download and multimedia entertainment. But it would be best to use a 4GB only to obtain maximum performance of the phone since it is specifically assigned for a business phone.Remember the E-Series is not a Full-Packed Multimedia phone unlike the N-Series.
Trick Number 8
To achieve fine and quality sound listening from your E51 you might want to consider the following headset( HS-42 ,HS -60, and HS-81 )
And please to remind you, when you are not using the headset dont leave it for a long time stucked in the audio port to prevent distorted and grounded kinda sound.
Trick Number 9
The E51 is equipped with GPS and Mobile Map just like of an N95. Co-Pilot or Tom Tom is compatible with the phone specifications. of course the software comes with a very high price tag.
Trick Number 10
You Phone Contacts can be printed like a directory list if you dont have the means to back it up or just not that sophisticated to use the synchronized service. You can do this via Print Options in Contacts. You should have a printer connected if you want it printed or can transfer it via Notepad.

it'll give u the best sound.. although it is an E series fone so i dont expect Good Sound from it like tht of n91 or n73..
