I intend buying the E51 as it looks like a good business phone but I cannot find out if I can receive e-mails via IBM Lotus Notes as that is our system at work or must I synchronise via my gmail address? Can anyone help?

I am planning to buy this phone can any one tell me that is this Nokia E51 is 60-series or 40-series phone?

there are people that things have badly gone wrong with their phones trying to update their firmware so better be careful guys. if you feel your firmware is fine don't bother to update.

I recommend you keep the firmware you got as standard with your phone. thank god nothing went wrong with my phone but there are people whom things have badly gone wrong fro them after updating the original firmware. the firmware in this phone which comes as standard is absolutely brilliant. but if there is something wrong with your firmware please let a professional handle the case. that is a lot better than doing-it-yourself. i mean if you're quite familiar there's no problem but, if you're not take it to the nokia repair center.

Dear all,
I am deciding between the Motorola V9 and Noka E51. I like the v9's built quality, sound quality & clarity and a image phone. Whereas the E51 has almost all the functions under that case and at a reasonable price.
At the moment my decision is more towards E51. Hope to hear some advise from here that I am making a right choice here.

I bought this phone yesterday, charged the battery full and it was dead in less than 8 hours, could this be because i was playing with the wifi option too much, or is my battery/phone faulty and i should take it back? are there certain functions of this phone that will kill the battery quickly??

Try to update your firmware. It can fix it..

The themes avail there delete one of them then the others will automatically shown there if still u r not able to delete then plug the USB cable then find there where the themes has installed in C (Phone) in D (Memory Card) then press Cross key mean Delete key try to under stand what i said and research about what i said that’s very simple

It's a brilliant phone. It's got IR, Bluetooth, Wifi and even Class 32 GPRS for hardly anything compared to other phones with the same features.
I've played around with the settings, pushed the phone to its limit by opening tons of apps simultaneously and I can say that it is indeed a very fast and stable phone.
No need to think twice about this one. Just go for it.

Thnxx fr your quick reply...but there is a problem ..the themes dat we download frm third party all of them are not shown there in application manager.....
in earlier phones we had an option of delete in the themes menu itself but this option is nt here in E51 ....so nw how to delete them...
i hope you understand d problem nw...

Hi,
I had an E51 4 months ago,it is a marvelous phone and I love it so much . But since 1 week this cell oftenly turn off by itself.I replace the battery and the problem still persist.Do any body know about this problem and how can I fix it?Thanks

After I installed a few themes and Video Center app from Download!, I haven't been able to access images and videos saved on the memory card from Gallery. What could be the problem?

Go in menu then in Installation Then App.Manager here will b the themes delete here form which one u want to delete
