i just bought this phone its rely gd but i have no clue of how to turn off the camera shutter sound can any1 help me?

Please, do you identify the E51 versions with particular colors? Which version is the complete black? And which version is the Black with silvery chrome? What of the bronze color? Please help quickly so that I can decide on which to buy, thank you

I find E51 Nokia a quite proper Cell phone with TFT Display i am using it and enjoying full memory. it is absolutely a proper cell phone with Bluetooth and USB conectivity.

Hi everyone, I am interested in buying this fun but I would like to ask people peope who are knowledgeable about the fun, like Wanura- How many types of E51 with camera exists? How do you differentiate them and which of the types is preferable and why? Please advice URGENTLY and thanks in advance

only E51 can proper support 4gb.
but e90 u can put after som time u ill see a problem,

yes this phone is very fast comparing to other symbian devices. i read a comment recently saying the phone hangs up sometimes and its slow. thats a firmware problem. don't worry not all phones have that problem. i'm sure you will not regret if you buy this phone. its unbelievably good.

To Adrian (N70),
if someone steals someone else's phone, that person should immediately report it to the police and get a police report. (to get the police report you should give them something to prove that you really are the owner of the lost phone). once you get the police report you have to give it to the service provider you used in the lost phone and from there they inform all networks saying if they find out one of their subscribers using that phone, to inform them. (when you insert the SIM card in to you phone, the phone automatically sends some of the information of the phone including the serial number of the phone). since the operator can locate where the lost phone is it's not hard to find the phone.
once i lost my phone and got it back.
and remember if someone steals just 1 or more phones from a shop, and delete the product identification codes from the store database, the owner can still get a list of the missing product ids in a jiffy! well i don't think there are any mobile shop owners who don't keep records of their stocks.
so my advice to all buyers are don't go for cheap thrills. buy you phones from a reputed and a trusted store. for those who wants to buy a second hand phone check the history of the phone you're gonna buy, ask the seller to produce billing proof before you buy it from you.
as far as i know the only way you can use a stolen phone is to take it to another contry and use.

Also would like to know if I can use Skpe on this phone through wifi & if yes then do I have to instal skype software on the phone.

I think this will be my 1st symbian, i dont own symbian phone this far is because its slow. but from people's opinion here, its pretty fast. I want to make sure before i own it, is it realy fast?

this phone can read office documents but cannot edit them. however mine can. with my 512MB memory card i got a lot of free and very helpful software and i can create and edit office documents. its nothing big because anyone can download that software and use it. its free and it can be found in almost every site which contains mobile stuff.
regarding the memory card you should have read the last few pages before asking. i personally have answered the same question at least 3 times and have been answered by other users more than 10 times. read a few pages back and you will find the answer for your question.

I'm using the same battery as most of you do. its a 1050 mAh. obviously you will not get the standby time mentioned on the site but mine stays on for 4 days with no problems what so ever. actually i don't charge my phone every night. i always wait till the battery dies. and when it dies i plug the charger in and keep the phone switched off till the charging is done. take my word and try it. you will feel the difference.

This is the first business phone that I ever bought and I have no regrets. This phone is super cool and very user-friendly. Kudos to Nokia for coming up with this phone model.

The phone is great. Mine is probably an Asian version, because it only has English, Chinese, Malaysian, etc. languages. Anyone knows how to add other language support?

I feel the voice quality is quite low compared to other phones....even whn i use my bluetooth headset,its the same.My version is 100.34.20(29-09-2007)....otherwise this is phone is quite amazing.wat do u feel guys.

To Nidhin,
My E51 was hanging ver frequently and was slow, I used to restart it once every one - two days. Then, I installed an application on it which made the phone stop working completely.
I formatted both the phone and the mem card. It is now very fast. Since that NO need at all to restart it. I run multiple applications on it smiltanuosly with NO hanging at all
