Can the e51 play you tube videos when i surf you tube on wifi? if not, which nokia phone can? Thanks in advance for answering.

      1- When you post a question and or a comment PLEASE PLEASE put your Name or your Nick Name in order to be able to answer you. I do not like to post an answer to UNKNOWN Person as like I talk to myself.

      2- Before asking any question please try to spend only 10 minutes of your time to read this forum at least for the last 10 Pages. I noticed that a lot of questions already been answerd many times in the past few Days by Me or by My friends Winura, NokiaMia or Other Users. That's why I don't try to Answer it again.

      First off All Try This:

      Press Menu>Tools>Connection>Wireless LAN>Show WLAN availability>Never

      Press Menu>Tools>Connection>Wireless LAN>Options>Advanced settings>Yes>Power saving>Enabled


      If you still have the WLAN Search swiched ON so the only remaining Reason is that there is an aplication try to connectect to internet and you authorized this application to Use your WLAN automaticly.

      For Exmple, Gizmo, Fring & F-Secure try to connect to Internet so it is recommended that you disable the Automatic use of your WLAN by those programs.

      If you can't please let me know which one do you use and I will tell you how to disable it.

      I can't tell you about Blakberry but if you read the post of Our Friend Winura few days ago he did talk about Black Berry functions on E51.

      Regarding your Other Questions please find details below:

      1- E51 support Multi Alarms by doing the Following:

      Press Menu>Office>Clock>Options>New quick alarm

      To Add Another Alarm Repeat the Same Steps
      To See All your Alarms Press Menu>Office>Clock>Right Navigation>

      2- E51 support Address and Birthday and other a lot of details addition to contact. To Add details do the Following:

      Press Contact>Choose your desired Contact>Options>Edit>Options>Add detail>

      By doing this you can add: Title, Middle name, Last name, Suffix, Nickname, Mobile, Mobile (home), Mobile(Business), Telephone, Telephone (home), Telephone (Business), E-mail, E-mail (home), Email (Business), BlackBerry PIN,etc........................

        Very frankly:
        E51 is a good phone, though I haven't bought it, I did a lotta search on reviews and had two demos from show rooms !!
        But, some issues. It does not support BBery for instant mailing, nokia guy said once the powermail comes that'll be solved. Another is its loud speaker is not loud enough, as N series or navigator. Last is no multi alarms and b'day and address addition with the contacts.
        However, good business and user friendly phone. I would buy it.

          I have the same problem,
          I turned Search for WLAN, and turned off Show WLAN availability,
          but my phone still have the sign for searching for WLAN. Why is it restarting alone? any ideas ?

            I have nokia e51,is a great phone,but the my nokia e51 usb port dont work and the batery wor for 6 hours only,whats is the problem,please contact my for the solucion of this problem.

              Dear Walid Youssef,

              Thank you for the reply on voicemail. Fully understood. One more question, WLAN is still searching even I've turned off the WLAN search. Deactivated the "Show WLAN availability" too.
              Still searching for WLAN despite that. Any clue? Otherwise, it is the best and most value for money phone I've ever owned.

                  Hi All

                  I got this phone last night and there is nothing like that’s as i was doubtful Phone is good Build quality is good i have Black colors Speed is good i was Using Nokia E90 now i moved to E51 and now happy with this

                  Speaker Phone
                  Is good and clear

                  Ear Piece
                  Also good and very clear

                  i have 900 Contacts in My previous E90 512-MB card little bid time it took to save 900 contacts but that doesn’t matter

                  Camera
                  Is not important for

                  Battery
                  Still cant say about that’s but think so it will b good as i have used near about 2hours but no bar Dropped

                  Just one thing i will Say
                  That’s Good

                    To the unknown person who inquired about the build quality of the E51 (vGeg),

                    this phone is not built to a budget. nokia has used materials from the highest quality to build this. once you touch it you'll feel how brilliant and solidly it has been built.

                    but i have to say there were a few people who complained about the built quality of this phone. the biggest problem was most of them complained that the dust goes under the screen. but nobody mentioned that problem there after.
                    another problem is that some claimed that there was a slight gap near the volume keys. but then again that complain disappeared after sometime.

                    well i have no complains about my device what so ever. i'll give 10 out of 10 for the build quality of my E51.

                        I'm using e51(black) for 1 month.
                        No problem with the color, no problem with built quality.
                        A well bult nokia.(Thx God!!!)

                            To Fawaz,

                            Why most people buy this phone is the reason that this phone comes with a lot of features under a very reasonable prize tag. And the build quality of this phone is very good. I guarantee you that you will never get a phone this good for such a reasonable prize.

                            The sound quality is extremely good. The sounds coming out from the loudspeaker is very clear and loud. So is the ear piece. You can hear the caller at the other end perfectly well. The main reason for this is the powerful antenna which this phone is equipped with.

                                to itsmeurlilqt,

                                There are quite a few native voip applications for symbain phones. I have only tried fring and truphone . Both have decent voice quality for calling friends and family, but I avoid using them for business calls.

                                    To install those you will need to switch from "Signed only" to "All" in Menu > Installations > App. mgr > Options > Settings

                                    Phone (inc. OS) got only once sluggish after a long long fun with first run of Nokia Maps.. But this was only this one time. It works perfectly and smoothly, no hangs so far, as if it was a reliable dumbphone :-) I've heard some other S60 phones have problems with browsing messages (few seconds lags), I don't have such problems with my E51
