i believe that E51 is far superior than N73 in many cases, to sum up a few: 1) Wifi connection & 2) Quick office

              To ANKIT,

the E51 is a bit cheaper than the N73 Music Edition and a bit expensive than the normal N73. well you wont get the 3.2mpxl camera and the secondary cam for video calling, in my opinion the E51 is more PHONE than the N73. i mean business wise the E51 is a brilliant piece of engineering and multimedia wise the N73 is "OK". not brilliant. well the sounds, i think both phones are on the same level. but the E51 is a LITTLE bit louder.

actually this will be an upgrade for you. you get a 16.7 million color display, wi-fi, blackberry technology and a few other features MORE than you get from the N73.

I saw a couple of users asked about the camera.

I would say the camera is good, not brilliant. Then again this is a business phone right? So cant blame the phone for that. Well about the video quality, it can record video in 320x240 resolution. Considerably good comparing to most phones.

                    To Original_Jamaican,

first of all i'm not shocked to see you here but i should say i'm suprised.

I saw that your question has been answered by our friend walid and i hope that answer satisfied you. I couldn't have made it any better.

I gave away my 6300 a couple of days ago. I am better off with the e51. Plus i find this forum very interesting because there are no ignorant people in this to spoil the forum. You will notice a huge difference in the 2 forums. Anyways...

Welcome to the E51 forum. :-)

To Steve J & all other users,

which ever the phone you are using you can identify the country of production by your serial number. Some say that this is a myth made up by someone but to find out it is for real. Nokia has released such an announcement to the public recently.

                            MOBI,

Yes you need an external bluetooth GPS. The E51 doesnt have built in GPS. You can grab one for about £30 on ebay. Make sure you get one which has a sirf 3 chip.

To Walid, Winura, Nokiamia, Original_Jamaican, kay kay, and all other Cellphone Fans,
This is in reference to the last post of Original_Jamaican to Nokiamia. It's so nice to know that they were mail-friends since long back! Here in this forum we all may be from different background, country, culture, age, profession etc... But what's so common among us is our intense passion for cellphones! May be within one or two years we will upgrade our cellphones and start visiting new forums. Thus we may loose the warmth we feel for each other in this forum! I remember dear Winura missing Walid and Nokiamia in one of his last posts! So if you all phone-lover guys please share your mail id here we can have an alternative channel among us to keep our contact alive, even after we stop visiting this forum. The most amazing contributor of this forum is already a good friend of mine in this way. Please consider this, my mail id is smartboy_x@hotmail.com
thanks a lot to you all, with regards,

                                  To NOKIAMIA:

Always good to see you. The last time we spoke you told me you were using the 6125.

I plan to get the E51, my first Symbian phone and I think now is the right time.

Do you find the speaker to be very loud ? How is the loudspeaker as well ?

Everybody says the E51 speed is as fast as lightening, which gives the idea that its as fast as the original 6230 or faster than it.

Is it as fast or faster as 6230 ? Or do you find the 6230 speed to be faster ?

Please give me your e-mail address again, had to get a new e-mail account so I lost your address.

                                  Take care my friend.

That's right. You need an external Bluetooth GPS receiver. Examples are Garmin's Mobile 10 and Nokia's GPS Module.

                                      Hi,
I am trying to use GPS but it seems that E51 has only software for GPS. It does not have any hardware and antenna for GPS.
Whenever I try to use GPS it asks to connect to Bluetooth device. Does it mean that I need additional hardware device to use GPS system and GPS navigation?

                                      Anyone?
