    Mansor,
Getting and installing .sis file on an S60/symbian phone is simple. 3 ways of doing it.
    1. send by bluetooth from your pc to mobile. The .sis file will appear in the sms inbox.
    2. Use Nokia pc suite, it's too simple. Follow the instructions and u should be fine.
    3. Direct your web browser to the application site, then download and install it.
    Enjoy

GG, synch yr phonebook to Outlook is a great move. I do that, ever since my 6230 days. i have ~800 names in my Outlook, which is shared between my wife and I. so, whenever any of us didnt bring our handphone or battery is dead, we can use any of our phones to make calls as we sahre the same phonebook. furthermore, i dont have to worry about flashing a new software or resetting the phone coz it's easily retrieved from my Outlook.

Hey Original Jamaican --- last time I heard from you was in the 6230/6230i forum, how are you, sir? Have you switched over to E51?

For me, yea - since last Nov/Dec. I moved on from 6230 - 6230i - 6125 - 6300 (which later i passed on to my wife) -- and now E51, which I love so much - given it's features and pricing.

            Take care.

Dear Friends, it has been a long time since I wrote here. I was Engaged and busy with Fiancee.

                      To All Users:
                      ----------------------------
What I love in the E51 is that it is almost Fully Costumized. The Last thing that I discovered is that Even the Didicated Keys (Phone Book, Email & Calander) are also Programable. You can change the Function of the One Touch Keys if you Like. For Example if you do not use Calander Often you can change it to any application that you want.

To Reprogram the One Touch Keys Do the Following:

                      Press Menu>Tools>Settings>General>Personalisation>One-touch keys

You can Program the Contacts Key, Calander Key, & Messaging Key in two ways. The First Way is for the "Short press" and the Second Way is for the "Long press"

                      To amr:
                      -------------------------
Yes. You can send and receive Emails in Arabic Language.

                      To Babbar & KayKay:
                      ---------------------------------
If you already have someone in your phone book and you got a missed call from him, you will see only the Name of the person not the phone number which he called you from.

In order to see the Phone Number of the Missed call Do the Following:

                      Press Menu>Log>Right Navigation Key>

You Will See the Log of all activities for the last 30 Days. Select the Missed call that you want to see its Number and you will get all Information that you want.

                      To GG:
                      --------------------
If you want to synchronize your Phone with Outlook Do the Following:

1- Install the Nokia PC Suite Software.
2- Connect your Phone Via USB or Bluetooth.
3- Press on "Synchronize" Shortcut on PC Suite.
4- Press on "Settings" on Nokia PC Sync.
5- Select What to Synchronize (Calander, Contacts, Bookmarks, Files)
6- When you do that for the First Time Press Advanced>Direction>
7- Select the Option of the Direction that you want.
                      8- Press Ok>Ok>Synchronize Now

                      Important:
                      ----------------------
If you already have another Nokia Phone, you can copy all contacts from the old phone the the New one without the need of the Outlook. but this depend if your Old phone supportthis option. I already copied all my contacts from my Nokia 6120 Classic to E51 in only 1 Minute via Bluetooth.

                      To Internet user1:
                      ------------------------------
Sure, you can use your E51 as a Modem for your Computer. I already use it with vodafone Egypt and it was Extremly Fast (10 Times the Speed of my ADSL - Up to 3.6 Mbaud per Second)

All What you Need is to Install the Nolia PC Suite and Press the Connect to the Internet Shortcut then follow the Wizard.

                      To Original_Jamaican:
                      ------------------------------

You have to Install Either Gizmo or Fring to use the VoIP on E51.

To Make Free calls with Gizmo the person that you call must have Gizmo also Installed on his computer.

If you Use Fring you can call any Person who has Skype on his computer. But beaware that Fring Eat your Phone Battery very Fast.

                      To Poh HH:
                      ------------------
Voicemail is a feature provided by your Network. It can be activated by Diverting your calls if for example your phone is turned off or unreachable.

You have to ask your Network about the Voicemail number first.

After that you can manage to Divert your Unanswered calls to your Voicemail.

                      Happy Day

                      Walid Youssef

Winura, the seventh and eighth serial numbers on my Nokia N93 are 00. It appears as if your number to country system does not work unless it is your observation specific to the E51.

                          To WINURA:

I know you must be shocked to see me in the S60 forum seeing that I usually live in the S40 forums.

S60 never used to be appealing because of the heavy weight, bulk body and slow processing but the E51 is a rebirth so I'm ready to jump in the S60 zone.

I am yet to get my hands on a E51 yet so I have a question to ask. I'm planning to buy this phone soon as I normally change my phone every year.

I have been wondering about the built in VOIP. Can you make free calls once the phone gets a Wi-Fi signal or you have to subscribe to a service first ?

Superb phone considering the price and size. S60 runs blazing fast due to the extra ram and increased processor speed. Best is the newly designed E-series keys around the d-pad. It's also the king of connections options. Tons of 3rd party applications (not expensive for me).
Get this phone u won't regret it.

                                    To mhymn,

Nokia has numbered the countries which makes their phones. the numbers are as follows.

                                    1 0 = Finland
                                    2 0 = Germany
                                    3 0 = Korea
                                    4 0 = China
                                    5 0 = Brazil, USA, Finland
                                    6 0 = HK, China, Mexico
                                    7 0 = Finland
                                    8 0 = Hungary
                                    9 1 = Finland

when you press *#06# you get the serial number of the phone. and if the 7th and 8th digits are as follows you should be able to figure out the country. so don't care about the sticker they have slapped in the back of the phone. Good Luck!

Can you please explain the purpose of voicemail in the E51? I do not subscribe to voicemail with my phone provider. Is it the same or something which I can configure in this phone?

However I am living in China right now and so far have been unable to locate this phone. My question is, can anybody tell me whether this phone is actually availble in China now or whether it will be in the near future?
