Planning to buy E51 shortly, but want to from you all knowledgable users.How is the net surfing & emailing experience with E51? Does its small screen kill the pleasure?
I own a 6300. Does E51 take same quality or better photos than Nokia 6300?

Amazing in all fronts excepting the camera and mega bass sounds like SE..Unfortunately doesnot have a good belt pouch.

Hi, all E51 lovers! Plz help me out. I am in urgent need of another bar shaped business phone, preferably Nokia. But cann't decide between E51 & E61i. E51 with its loads of E90-like features is almost perfect, but the small screen draws me back. E61i, with big screen and qwerty is a great phone, but lacks feature pack 1, FM, jack, etc. Plz tell, as a business phone which one is better? Which one takes better photos & plays better music? Should I wait for E71 liam? Plz plz help! Thanks a lot in advance! With regards to all.

I purchased E51 on 15/02/08. So i have a small experience with that. But i liked it very much...every body told me that this mobile has no battery back up...but i got a good back up for 2.5 days (i am an average user)..Camera is not good....and sound quality is not better...bcas its a business phone the application in it and the OS speed was very very good. No hanging problem...with headset the sound quality is good...
I suggest this mobile to all who are taking for phoning use.....good phone call log are for 30 days and unltd. phone book.... slim... and all facilities are there in... :::Nokia E51:::

the battery life is very good in this phone. i use the phone more than 4 days after a full proper charge. the ones who had not done the charging properly at the initial stage no wonder you experience low battery life.

Software updates aren't only for fixing bugs,sometimes they add features like A2DP in the latest N73 and N93i FW updates, FlashLite3.0 in N95-8GB latest FW update, Demand Paging in N95 Classic latest FW etc. . . .

The Eseries are great phones but I had to give away mine (I had two: E50 and E65) because they would pull my ear`s hair.
And it hurts!
Why can`t Nokia design another earpiece for these phones?
Untill that happens, I won`t buy another Eseries...

Nokia Updater is use only for phones who have bugs on software and is NOT recomanded to change ur software if the build-in soft is working fine!
So..da conclusion is if u wanna install 8gb Card on E51..wait until ur soft has issues:D
Everyone??? some replys on this matter, pls!

Hi PPL!
Who knows how I can install/change voice adapters? (when someone calls u, the phone is telling u who it is)I want to change the men voice with something sexy:D, but I don't know here I find'em to download! So if somebody wants to help me, Thx!
and by the way... THE E51 is FANTASTIK!

I was under the impression that the E51 even with release firmware is a MicroSDHC phone so it shouldn't have a problem with a 8GB MicroSD card.

8 gig will not work untill the software of the phone is updated. the phone can currently run 4 gig without problmes. if any highger is used or some how can be used ithout the upgrade the phone will be very slow and sluggish.

The * (Star) key will take you thru the optional words - if none of them is suitable the left soft key will take you to "spell"

still there are no pouches for this phone. the only thing i could find for this was a small leather bag sort of thing which is covered with velvet in the inside. and hey you must have got the polishing cloth with it right? use it to clean the finger prints and stuff. also use a display protective sticker in case the original one falls off.
even i have done it to my E51. I'm a sri lankan but i bought mine from mumbai last month. the prices are very reasonable.

I bought a E51 a month ago and I would say it is the best from Nokia stable. My only problem is that I sweat a lot and so the phone too gets swaty. I cud not find a phone cover for E51 in Chennai.
Otherwise this phone is amazing for this price.
