i am not sure if this phone was custom-made for me, but i like it in every way. i'm still waiting for it to be available around here. they have it at stores but they don't have pricing for it yet. it's what i wanted to buy late last year, i ended up buying another type because i was kept waiting for its price for a very long time in a mall location.

I was waiting this phone for months but I realized that the SAR value of this phone is 1.40 W/kg. http://sar.nokia.com/sar/index.jsp
        And finally abondoned.

The upper limit for safety is 1.6 W/kg.
It has one the highest SAR value among other phones.

              Dear friends. Changed 4 different
fones in the past 3 months. All i
want is a fone with a very good
battery life , very good signal
reception and easy to use office
              applications, not very bulky in
size and price below 500 USD.
Will E51 satisfy my needs? Or
any other device 2 think of?

I owen the E51 for about 2 months now and have no problem using it. Great phone. It has all features that I need speicaly for it size it is super phone. Mush lower cost than many other phones in market. I am tierd of hearing people complaining about no front camera... I had many phones with front camera and never used it. If you looking for front Camera why then wasing your time looking at E51? That is why Nokia make many phone for people with different interest. As far as I know i hate front camera invating privacy. Looking fro front Camera Nokia give you many Options N73, N95,N81, and N82. Good head and start looking at those phones. E51 is best small phone i have even owen. Thanks Nokia.

Bought the E51. Good phone. Lots of connectivity options. Very well priced for all its features.But...
                        1) Screen size is a bit small. For someone who wishes to use WiFi on the phone very regularly, a bigger screen is recommended.
                        2) A little more speaker volume would have been gr8
                        3) Side buttons are a bit difficult to use.
                        4) Decent but no attractive looks. At first glance, looks like simple 4-5 thousand rupee phone, although it packs great features.

Overall - my honest opinion - A good phone for a businessman. Stable performance and good speed. Useful key customizations.
Its not the phone to be bought for listening to music, taking snaps, viewing video-songs.

this is really a great phone, no complaints abt it so far for the past 2 months, onli thing lacking is GPS, if not, it will really be perfect. and there is something caled phone switch in it, changing to this phone will be a breeze because all date can be transferred with no hassle with phone switch. plus it's really not expensive, onli 440sgd ( I bought it at 490 ) but still think it is worth every single cent

It seems that you are trying to access the internet through secured WLAN network. If you are not the network manager, than ask your network administrator to give you the key that has been set to avoid any unwanted guests.

                                i own this phone
Previously i wrote that the browser is not good.
I was wrong because i was using sony ericsson and motorola phones in the part.

This browser in the phone is the best i have ever used way better opera mini v4

The phone is the best i ever had

Even though it is not the most expensive i have ever owned.

                                I have no complaint whatsoever . .

But if someone wants good multimedia features this is not it

I am a business minded person

Besides if i want to listen to music or watch videos i would do it at home in music system and a tv screen. . . .

Pre-shared key means a password to use that wlan, it's not about your phone, and i cant believe you asked that...

Actually, it's quite clear that E51 does NOT have a front camera. So, only 1-way video call is possible. For those who require 2-way video call, avoid frustration - DO NOT buy this phone. Pls study the spec first before buying.

But even without that, there's no denying that, averagely, this is one heck of a phone. It's simply superb! I love it! Especially when it's priced comparatively cheap at RM1300.

Someone complained about funky ringtone. You need to do this: Go to Menu>Media>3D-Tones -- turn OFF the 3D effect.

So far, in 3 wks, no freezing. Superb phone!
