actually the camera of E51 not so bad....but i think it's display size ought to be slightly large than the existing size...
ooooops.... another loopholes is this model has no flash light system!!!!

I agree. not so good quality when it comes to pictures. nice and easy to use phone but the screen size is not worth its price.
i swapped mine to 6220 classic and i'm happy now.

bad camera quality. wifi made up for the loss but i think i will trade my e51 for a nokia 5700. my sister has it and the pic quality is far superior than e51 in spite they are both 2 megapixels. the screen is bigger and sound is far superior as well. bye bye e51. also the cancel button sucks below the down navi key. if you want a wifi phone better get e63 and keep another phone for texting and other functions.

I love the E51 except for the down directional button, I find to be way to close to the delete button. Other than that the E51 is an excellent phone. - You do get used to the down button though. Some times when I change songs without looking I end up pressing the delete button instead of the down button. It doesn't take much getting used to but would be a lot easier if it were larger/raised more.

The camera is NOT as bad as you guys make it seem. It's not the best but certainly not the worse. I think it actually performs better at night than day. That's a unique trait with this camera (smile).

POSITIVE = it's net speed is faster and wi-fi speed is awesome ,sound is very nice in speaker and handsfree also u RECORD every call without BIP & spy call with side butten record key THIS IS BEST OPTION ALSO .

In daylight most Nokia phones might beat the E51 camera but in night mode I think the E51 stands out over other Nokias. Night mode shots really look good, some noise is visible as expected but the overall detail looks better compared to most Nokia cams when using night mode.
In what way is the Silver E51 better ?

camera is not good. quite greenish. some nokia 1.3 megapixels are even better like nokia 3230. the e51's 2megapixel cam is not so good compared to other nokia 2megapixel cams. believe me. I'm a nokia user for 9 years and switched a lot of phones from one nokia to another. same with e63. bad cameras.
the best 2 megapixel nokia cam I can see is Nokia 5700xpress and 6120 classic. pictures are crisp taken from these phones.
overall e51 is a handy phone with wifi and the silver edition is better than black and bronze. fast symbian application and good for texters. camera is the downside of this.

Whoever told you that GSM signal is worse than older model must be an opposite thinker. The E51's GSM signal reception is one of the best I have ever seen in any other Nokia. It has a stronger transmitter for better reception.
Here's an excerpt from Mobile-Review.com: "the E51’s increased transmitter power, or cutting-edge technologies for better reception quality."
So don't follow rumours Alex. I have no problems with my E51's reception at no point in time. Just get it and be happy.

Hello all, I just wanted to drop in and say that the Nokia E51 is one awesome phone, I've had the phone for nine months, use it on T-Mobile's network, and it work's flawlessly. The quality and craftsmanship are second to none, this phone is very very high quality. I love how "solid" this phone feels. Texting, MMS, are a snap, call quality is superb. I would highly recommend this phone, when it finally gives out I will definitely be buying a Nokia of similar specs.

I would just like to state that the E51 is by far one of the best handsets I've owned.Everything I wanted in a mobile was provided.I had it for 9months and it never gave me a problem.Now that it's gone I don't know what to replace it with.If you thinking of buying one , don't hesitate

Best thing you do right now is backup your entire phone memory to memory card the format your phone.
The formatting code is *#7370#. Input this code in standby mode.
Remember to BACKUP first because using that code will DELETE everything...contacts, messages, notes, appointments, SIP / VOIP settings...everthing!!!

I am getting a "Memory full" error that keeps popping up frequently. Even when I click ok, I cant even charge the phone or turn it of... I go into a loop where the error keeps popping back up. I eventually have to pop out the battery to restart it... then it works fine until I get the error again in a couple hours!!! Please help!

What type of mail server is GOMAIL ? The push e-mail only works with POP3 accounts.
